Been in the lawn and landscape biz since 1992. Had numerous trailers over the years. I'm not new to…read morethis. Bought 2 new hustler trailers in April this year for mowers. All was good until the gate broke at the metal tube and weld. Hinge was still good. Took it in to get it welded back. They would not take care of me without charging several hours of labor at $95 an hour and said they needed another hinge. Wrong. Said it was my fault the mowers pushed back and caused it to happen. Took it directly to a friend who has been welding for years. He said it is a factory defect and water is getting into the tube, causing it to rust from the inside. Which I agree with. Could have been handled properly, but this guy wouldn't listen to anything. He knew it all. The people at this place are not worth going too. Very bad customer service after spending over $5000 in trailers! Not a bad price for 2 trailers, which is the only reason i gave 2 stars.

This place has the most reasonable hourly labor rate that you'll find AND you'll get excellent customer service from them as well. Even though the job took longer than expected I was still only charged for one hour of labor because that's what the owner quoted me and he stands behind his word and that is something that almost no other place does not do in today's business world. Because it took a little longer then they expected I left the guys in the shop a tip to maybe buy lunch for themselves and thank them for a great job and honest business. I'll highly recommend them to anyone who would ask me. Erik

I called hustler trailers to get some replacement parts, keep in mind I have bought at least 3…read moretrailors from hustler. so I ordered some parts from I guess the glorified secretary I was in know hurry to get them, but she overnights them. the parts with tax were about 35.00 dollars. they were not big or heavy cost me almost 25.00 to get them shipped. I called back there was no invoice in the box found out the shipping cost really made me mad, so unnecessary. the lady said yea I didn't put an invoice in the box i'll get them out in the next week or two. when I ask her about the invoice she said i'll have to put down my lunch. probably the last trailor i'll ever buy from hustler. sad thing is Jeff the owner really great guy, but probably needs to get rid of Madem secretary. oh and by the way I never write reviews, and I am talking about Hustler trailors in Lake City Tn. I am in business for myself. If one of my people acted like this they would be gone.
