The fee for entry was minimal. It was neat seeing the curtains being moved from down below on Main Street, and being able to move them around once you are up inside. I felt it gave a good history of the profession and gave facts on the closing of the brothel. It felt eerie thinking about the horrors of trafficking and how that has become prevalent in modern times.

We were wandering around town on a Saturday night and were thrilled to come across Kodiak's. We loaded up our cards and shot hoops and rolled skee-balls to our hearts' content. We got really into the Jurassic Park dinosaur shooter and I raced over to the counter to load up my card for another play. The owner mentioned she would load my card for free because she had just cashed out. I asked when they closed and it turned out we were 5 minutes past but she said "it's not a big deal at all!" and reassured me it was fine to finish our game. We went out to cash out our tickets and ended up talking to the owner for at least 20 minutes about how she ended up in South Dakota, and she was a riot!! We had a blast and would definitely come back.

The history is interesting, except for the fact that wealthy entrepreneurs exploited the common folks during the 1929 depression and bought their gold claims/homestead for less than market value.
