We had a king sized bed, a microwave, refrigerator and the room was ample size. The bed was so high, I had to literally climb up on it. Good news was that it was very comfortable. The bathroom was something that needed a little work. The shower was a bit moldy, and the plumber put the handle on backwards so the hot water was first on the dial. Breakfast was available every day, which had a nice variety, but I just usually do yogurt and a banana, so I was good. There was a pool, which I didn't use and also a very small gym.

In general rooms are always very nice and clean. The rooms have ran HVAC units somehow old ones. This is not a big deal with me. But you can tell that it's older. My issue, is a couple of rooms. I've gotten have had a moldy mildew smell to them. I felt very humid. I never complained and asked for any room. Just as an issue at least a couple of times. Otherwise it's a decent place to stay.

The recent renovation has made this property vibrant again and the staff is very friendly and willing to be helpful. The room we stayed in this particular trip was room 511. It is located on the NW corner of the hotel and is very clean and the furthest from the Interstate. Which made the room very quiet. We had breakfast one of the mornings we stayed and the folks serving the breakfast area are doing a great job. They are constantly replenishing food items as needed and greet you with a good morning smile when you enter . The price for this property per night compared to Gainesville on a game weekend is about 1/2 the cost. The 35-40 minute drive up from G'ville after a game is worth the cost. Plus, I'm closer to home when heading back on Sunday. As an FYI, there are quite a few restaurants near the hotel (Ruby Tuesday's, Gators Dockside, Texas Roadhouse, Panera, Pisano's) just to mention a few.

This resort is 21 and over, which I love! The resort is a member of the AANR and abide by their guidelines. You will most definitely feel safe, secure and enjoy the folks here, the guests are friendly and helpful. I was hesitant but holiday traffic took a toll on me. We checked in at about 9pm on Wednesday and Cara was fantastic. The whole check in process was simple and friendly. The room was clearly renovated and very welcoming. We missed the breakfast but it didn't matter. Loved the walk in shower, too! My only feedback is that housekeeping should really ensure that that switch at the door will turn on the room lights. Apparently some guests manually shut the lights which renders the switch to be useless. Kudos to Cara for ensuring we had a pleasant stay.
