I am a female and was solo traveling. going to a nudist camp was on my bucket list. when I arrived I was assured of the safe space and non judgemental attitudes of other guests. I was given a tour, saw naked and clothed people going about their day. when I arrived back at the lodge/pool area I was so nervous. a 60 something year old couple , naked, started to talk to me as if this was the most normal way to meet people. they said to come join them at the pool (nudist attire only at the pool) so I borrowed a towel went into the ladies, stripped off my clothes. I hesitated at the full length mirror, looked ay c section scares, protruding belly, slightly sagging breasts complete with stretchmarks, and said what the hell. I wrapped the towel around me and stepped out. opened the gate to poolside and went in. it was scary, and delightful. to feel the sun and breeze on your skin is an exhilarating feeling. though not sexual I coudnt get those thoughts out of my head (we're programmed in this country), until these couples all around me started to engage me conversations. they all shared their first time experiences. soon my thoughts were about these delightful, funny, authentic human beings, who just happen to be naked. one of the highlight moments of my life. bg and tom, the proprietors, make every effort to make you feel right at home. there is a full bar and cafe on premises. the menu has moderately priced fresh made to order dishes. the best food in white springs. IMHO . bg and toms generosity of spirit I booked a cosy cabin the next day and am staying for 3 days.

First off, the free parking deserves its own standing ovation. Pull in, park, no stress, no drama, no circling like you are hunting for buried treasure. That alone already put everyone in a good mood. But the real star of the day was the ocean. The Atlantic Ocean was doing its thing like it always does, loud, endless, and a little dramatic in the best way. The waves would roll in all calm and pretty, and then suddenly act like they had something to prove when they hit the shore. My family spent half the time just watching the water like it was a live show we all agreed to attend. The kids were running in and out of the surf like the ocean was a game level they were trying to beat. Meanwhile the adults were pretending to be chill but really just trying not to get knocked over by surprise waves or lose a sandal to the sea forever. There was something about standing there with salt air, wind blowing, and that huge stretch of ocean in front of us that made everything feel simple in the best way. No schedules, no rush, just waves, laughs, and somebody always saying "don't go too far!" We ate, we laughed, we got sandy in places we will not discuss in public, and we loved every minute of it. Five stars. Great KY family day, perfect Atlantic Ocean views, and free parking that should honestly be illegal for how convenient it was.

There was a brunch haus for a Sunday brunch, then beach venture to see what Jax Beach has to offer. Since it was November, it was very relaxed and less than people since it was cooler. Loved the calmness of hearing the waves roll in, and enjoyed dipping my feet in for a bit. Parking was very reasonably priced, and easy to pay via mobile phone. Loved the ease to park, pay, and enjoy the beach vibes.

The weather was cool and comfortable -- perfect for camping without the Florida heat and humidity. The Christmas lights were AWESOME! The park does a fantastic job decorating, and it really puts you in the holiday spirit. Driving through the light displays in the evening was definitely the highlight of the trip. The campground itself was spacious and well-suited for RVs, and it worked great for a group stay. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together. The only downside is there's not much to do in the immediate surrounding area. If you're looking for shopping, restaurants, or attractions outside the park, options are pretty limited. It's more of a "stay on property and relax" kind of destination -- which isn't necessarily bad, just something to know ahead of time. If you enjoy RV camping, holiday lights, and a laid-back atmosphere, this is a great seasonal getaway -- especially with a group. Would definitely consider going back for the Christmas display again!

We started off in a tent but decided to rent a cabin for a night to get the full experience. Only downfall is that the cabins are a bit older and could use some slight updates and more cleaning. Our friends and family also joined us and we booked 4 rooms including suites. The resort had a new owner when we initially visited in 2021 and several changes were to be made. The place could be really nice but it has taken its toll over the past 3 years. The owner has not done any upgrades as were promised. The furniture is falling apart and you can't even sit on it with having flakes left on your clothing. The floors and carpet in the main lobby are dirty and stained. The fish tank up front as well as the large koi pond are not cleaned and the poor fish inside struggle for air. There is black gunk and mold all over the glass, thick and hanging from the filters. You can't enjoy the pool because it is not cleaned and there are tons of bugs. It was so bad they even closed the pool several days. The mosquitoes and flying bugs outside are so abundant that you can't even enjoy the outdoors. So much for a relaxing water vacation! Trees were not trimmed and there were several overgrown areas which I feel contributed to the excess amount of bugs. If you walked around outside you were attacked by swarms of bugs. You literally had to hold your breath when walking thru them or you would swallow some. NASTY! The rooms were pretty clean overall but in poor condition. Furniture needed updating and there was no table or chairs in our suite. Just a bed and couch. The electrical outlets kept popping making it difficult to plug anything in. It is sad that this place is in a great location but nothing is being done to make it amenable. Upon leaving we were asked if we were booking for next year. When we said no and let them know why. They didn't seem to care. So we definitely will not be back. I suggest saving your money and possibly going to another nearby location. This could take a turn for the better. But it hasn't in 3 years. Not to mention the owner was not very friendly or concerned. A final note: The AC in the main lobby and several of the rooms didn't work well and the staff thought it best to turn it off. It was better outside on 104 heat than inside a supposedly cool resort with no pool access.

I've stayed at other motels but liked this one the best and they gave me a discount since I stay there so much. I have to be at another job in the morning on the opposite side of the state so I got done at this job about 11:30 am and called in and told them that I'd be leaving and needed to check out after I get my stuff. The tweeker looking chick that's been up for days with dark ass circles around her eyes like a raccoon, proceeds to tell me I'm getting charged for tonight since check out is 11. So I hung up on her, left the job I was on, went and packed up my clothes and went to the office to ask wtf. On the way down I see the house cleaner and ask her if she had been to my room yet she said no I just got upstairs and cleaning the room on the total opposite end of the building right now I won't be to yours for another while. So I wasn't stopping her from doing her job obviously. So now it's time to go to the offfice and it's her and the mgr guy probably the owner who tf knows said that yes if I stay past 11 then I'll be charged for that night. This mf tries to tell me I don't have the right to talk to his house cleaners. lol this is America mf and I'll talk to whoever tf I want to thank you. I wasn't stopping her from doing her job of cleaning my room for the next customer and you want to charge me the extra hundred dollars for tonight????. He wants to argue so I give back my special discount card and room key and walked tf out telling them I won't ever stay here again after paying my bill from the night before that I owed like a decent human being. Moral of the story: don't piss off your customers over an hour of time especially if it doesn't affect anything that you have going on because now it just cost you thousands of dollars over the next few years!!!!!! I hope the owner or investors reads this and fires both these assholes over lost clientele. Remember WE are the ones that pay YOUR FUKING BILLS!!!!!!!!!

The staff is really amazing, very friendly and professional. They really set the tone for our stay. Afternoon treats in the lobby are a very nice touch as are the doughnuts in the morning. The rooms have just been updated and are terrific! Several reviews mentioned outdated rooms, well, no more! The bed was new and fantastic. The bath is nicely appointed with a good shower. All rooms open up to the pool and ocean with nice breezes and views. You may want to consider a room on an upper floor as the socializing outside is easily heard on the second floor and tends to go on after midnight. Speaking of the pool area, the expansive, terraced space contains several fire pits/ fireplaces and sitting areas. Rows and rows of lounges are terraced around the swimming pools. A hot tub and splash pool round out the waterworks. Well, the Atlantic Ocean is there, too. A nice poolside bar with seating and cabana service adds to the resort. On the property you will find several upscale shops and restaurants just a short walk or trolly ride from the hotel entrance. Everything you need or could want is in the resort grounds. We enjoyed the live music in the Surfcaster bar off of the lobby several nights. A fun, relaxed place to converse and imbibe with friends. The ladies in our group enjoyed a luxurious afternoon at the spa. They proclaimed the massages to be the best ever! We learned that because of the recent crackdown on immigration, that the process of approving international staff has caused the resort to be significantly understaffed. For the most part you would never know as the staff was very attentive and welcoming as I mentioned. The one place where we did notice a subpar performance was in the maid service which we did not receive two days on our visit. Given the circumstances, we just rolled with it. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in a villa with a beach view, which was ideal for my friend and our kids--spacious, quiet, and steps from the sand. The buffet-style food was consistently delicious, and the pool was a true highlight: luxurious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The gym was a bit tricky to get to, but once there, I had the place to myself every morning and the weight area was surprisingly well-equipped. One of my unexpected favorites was the specialty drink served in the lobby--this free Dubai-style hot chocolate was like no other: rich, decadent, and the perfect treat after a long day. Overall, an incredible off-season stay and a resort I'd happily return to.
