It's clean, beds are comfortable, and the pressure in the shower is strong with plenty of hot water. Little things too: our room (# 120) was a tad larger than usual, the television is big, and the art -- something I notice -- is local and attractive. The staff is exceptionally nice and if you need to make a quick getaway, I-95 is right there ... but you won't hear a bit of noise. I wasn't familiar with Waltersboro, but it's on the map with a cute, if not sleepy, downtown area housing design and antique shops. Also a good number of restaurants with great reviews. If you don't feel like driving there's a Cracker Barrel outside the hotel and Ruby Tuesday a few blocks away.

They also have a station with dog bags and a place for you to discard of dog poop. That was very convenient. I didn't stay here long. It was just an overnight but I also appreciate the free breakfast in the morning to get me on my way. They had sausage eggs. Of course. Plenty of juices and coffee, fruits and vegetables and muffins. The band was very comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. I also appreciate the fact that I was able to change the nozzle on the shower head to different patterns and strengths. And I also appreciate the lighting on the bathroom mirror. It was a good stay!

I ask for a late checkout and they are happy to do it. Free breakfast isn't stale bagels but a full southern layout with biscuits and gravy, sausage and a pancake maker. The accommodation is like home from home everything you could possibly need and more is available. The location is ideal for a stroll into town or wander up Pigeon Point Road to see the sunset over the river. We sampled a few of the local restaurants during our stay which we enjoyed. So much to see and do, beautiful area lovely planting and the Magnolia Tree is huge! Bikes were also available which we also used during our stay try the Spanish Moss trail, or have a walk over the huge swing Bridge where part of Forrest Gump was filmed. The Waffle House down the street is excellent and much better than the Cracker Barrel across the street.
