Hotel is old and run down. The rooms felt unclean and there was stuff laying in the hallway. The pool was nice but the hot tub was foggy and unclean. The breakfast is coffee and bread and with no meat or eggs. I do not recommend this hotel especially since it was not cheap! read more

This place needs a thorough cleaning from top to bottom!! It needs complete remodeling in every room as if my room was this bad, I can imagine just how bad the rest of the rooms look like! Id be ashamed to have anyone stay in a room of mine if it was half that bad! Then they charged me full price and wouldn't give me. Credit when I had to leave because of an emergency!! Be very careful every making reservations if you care about cleanliness!!! read more

I feel it's very sad but I get a room from you I have put my own batteries in the remote control to get the TV to work and your guys's heater is broken I froze my ass off all night and now I'm sick and I don't get sick and when I brought it up to the front desk lady all she did was Owe it's totally broken no apology no nothing didn't offer me my money back could have at least offered me coffee or something but just turned her back and what about her business I will not be doing there again and can stay at motels all the time I left from there and went directly to a different motel.. mind you I only stated that room for like 8 hours never again read more

This was our first time staying at a Days Inn, and it exceeded our expectations. We were in town for a Shorinji Kempo seminar, and the hotel's location was perfect--just minutes away from our venue at Mt. Hood Community College. The hotel is also conveniently located just a 25-minute drive from the airport, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. We booked four rooms with double queen beds over two separate nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Booking directly with the hotel was easy, and our four-night stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The surrounding area offered plenty of dining options, and we especially liked the local Bar & Grill nearby. The nightly rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. A special shoutout to Anisha at the front desk--she was cheerful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to provide us with detailed receipts and great local dining recommendations. Keep up the excellent work! read more

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gresham - This is the double queen room we stayed at for 4 nights. - Hotels Near Me - Gresham, Oregon

I would give them negative stars in fact they'd get -5 stars. The only other hotel I've ever stayed in that was worse than this hotel was in a podunk remote Texan town (the only motel available) in the remote location where my mother died. Fortunately, in the area outside of Portland, OR. There ARE other choices, I HIGHLY recommend you find someplace else to stay if you have to be in this area. We arrived very late after a long difficult travel day from Florida, bad weather, flight delays, broken planes requiring change of planes etc. the young man at the check-in seemed confused as to what rooms he had available he was referring to multiple mini clip boards, and screens he eventually found a room. We were exhausted and not knowing Gresham, we had no idea Stark rd. can compete with a busy interstate! We took the room which was on the second floor, with no elevator. I told him my husband has a heart condition and cannot lug luggage up stairs. He was very nice and carried the 2 suitcases upstairs for us. As exhausted as we were we did not sleep at all! The bed was a rock, the pillows terrible, the noise thru the thin windows horrendous. It seemed as if they were drag racing on that road right outside our window. I requested a room change in the morning and was told the manager would call us. We were minutes away and could come back. No call was made, so we spent a second awful night. In the morning resigned to my sister's impending death, the remaining nights to be spent in an awful room, we skipped their meager , unimpressive "breakfast " and headed out. As we were leaving the hotel the manager ran out, told us he had completely forgotten to call and change our room but would make it happen today. He asked us to go back and pack our things so they could do that for us. After we spent precious time repacking, we left to get a paid for breakfast at Troutdale Station so that we would have good nutrition to deal with the horrors of the day. When we returned in the evening yet another young man was at the desk dealing with another angry customer. When he was done with her I told him we were moved by the manager but we don't know where he moved us while we were gone. He could find no such action and said we were still in room 233. My man had relented his key. I had not, so he took my key to check if our luggage was still there. Yes, the key worked, our things were exactly where we left them. So let's talk about what else is wrong with this hotel besides its location 3 feet from an endlessly busy, noisy road. They advertise breakfast, don't bother it's awful unless you're 5 years old. They offer a machine that automatically makes under cooked pancakes, a few tiny yogurt cups, maybe a hard boiled egg, and plenty of fruit loops. Their towels are so small and threadbare plus you're lucky if you get one towel per person and please don't even expect they'll be clean and white ours certainly weren't. The drain in the sink takes several minutes to drain. There is no floor mat. There is not even a lousy hotel faux art print on a wall. There are two very small drawers for your clothes and 4 hangers. So don't plan on staying for more than 2 days because you will be leaving most of your stuff in your suitcase. There is only one ice machine and it's on the ground floor - more stairs. We had to request the Wi-Fi password as it was not given to us. Security is also an issue. The safety latch does not stay across the door, when someone slams a door down the hall it will pop open. I'll be here for another two days there may be more to follow. So as predicted more! Our keys didn't work two days in a row. Of course this means me stir walking to have them reprogrammed. The very last day was the ONLY day they made our bed. No tissues in the room. read more

We stayed here because it was inexpensive and had a pool. The employees were wonderful. I always make my own bed so I just asked the housekeeper for towels every day. They were very accommodating. We had the pool to ourselves every day which was amazing! Had such a great time! Lots of food close by and parks. If you require a gourmet breakfast you might go to an expensive hotel. People seem to expect a lot for a place that's just a bit more expensive than a motel 6! It is located at a busy intersection so there is traffic. Bring earplugs if you aren't used to city noise. After all the swimming I slept great and heard nothing! Also we had a refrigerator and microwave! More than I could ask for at that price! Thank you for a great restful stay! read more

Well another example of "You get what you pay for." The staff so far has been very friendly, so 5 stars to them. Location is nice, with several stores within walking distance. Now as far as the actual "Inn" it's pretty much run of the mill. The room was adequate and comfortable. I assume they did clean the room, even though I found a piece of popcorn on the floor. The tv was also disconnected, but one of the staff quickly addressed that issue. I did take a dip in the pool. Upon floating on my back, I noticed that they apparently haven't cleaned their vents in a while. There was some green mold here and there along the side of the pool as well. We've only spent one night here so far, it was fairly quiet even with our room near an entrance and stairwell. The toilet did run, but with a jiggle of the handle it stopped. If you are expecting a "continental breakfast" don't expect anything fancy. They give you a paper bag with some yogurt and a few breakfast bars. We did bring our dog, this Inn is very pet friendly, which is a plus. read more

We had an amazing stay. The front desk staff was so friendly and nice, the rooms were great and the housekeepers were working overtime during the snowstorm. The breakfast was really nice as well. read more

This is a two-story motel with no elevator. My 82 year old mother had a hard time going up and down the stairs during our visit. In addition, the breakfast was very sad; an assortment of breads, a pancake maker that basically made two small pancakes every minute. No eggs and very watery coffee. Our room was not properly cleaned the three nights we were there. We ran out of soap in the shower pump day two. The kleenex ran out day one. There must have been four pieces in there to start. We specifically told the cleaning lady in English and Spanish that the kleenex was empty and it was still not changed. The trash was completely piled up under the sink and not emptied. If the cleaning crew is missing the obvious things, where else are they cutting corners? read more

Terrible customer service and it took us 40 minutes to check into our rooms. The drawers in the room were broken and there was something that spilled all over around the fridge and it was just disgusting. The toilet bowl had poop stains all around it and it's obvious that the bathroom and rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The sheets and pillow sheets had stains on them, I had to use my stuff animal as my pillow. The window don't close off the sound from the outside so you can practically hear everything from outside. Overall I feel like this place could be so much better if the workers just maybe cleaned a bit more? read more

I saw reviews when I booked on hotels.com and it had a 7 so I thought good enough for one night. Honestly I'd stay in the car I rented if I hadn't paid. It's GROSS. People are obviously smoking in the rooms. My room and bed reeks of smoke. Lots of people in the parking lot acting really suspicious. People yelling inside and outside of the property I went and bought disinfectant to spray my bed because I really don't know If it's even clean. No conditioner given in the room just shampoo. Couch is icky. Wouldn't sit on it. For $100+ I'd expect a lot more. Also went to make coffee and the back is completely molded. Ew! Glad I looked well before I made any. read more

Where do I begin. When we arrived the day before Thanksgiving, we had a hard time checking in because the clerk could not find our reservation although we made it in October. An older man came up and fixed that problem. Next, the room was on the second floor and there is no elevator! The room seemed pretty decent, but when I lifted the toilet seat (which had a ban on it indicating it was clean) there was poop in the toilet! The sink backed up and took more than five minutes to drain and the bathtub was the same way. I told the woman at the desk and she said she would send someone up to fix it. That was three days ago. When we checked out, it was still not fixed. The towels were very thin and scratchy! The beds had a sheet metal frame and the mattress was less than desirable. The room was not cleaned the last day we were there. Twice, our key cards would not work, so that meant extra trips up and down the stairs. My nephew also stayed there down the hall. I told the woman at the desk that there was a sticky substance on the floor outside his door. It was still there when we checked out three days later. The breakfast was a joke. The boiled eggs were frozen, the bread was stale and the coffee had grounds in it! This place needs to be shut down and refurbished. read more

Horrible. For the amount of money we have to pay for a decent hotel accommodations this hotel is the worst. Terrible mattress, stained sheets and rags for towels. I was put in a ADA access room. If I were to need a room that was accessible then I surly would not want this room. How could someone even reach the hand held shower when it's attached to the upper wall of the shower?? Among other issues. Forget about getting a little bite to eat in the morning unless you are the first person in line. Everything was scattered and empty of the food that was there. Spilled milk and garbage. Won't be coming back. read more

When I tried to check in the front desk person admitted they don't read the notes that you write online. The website says pet friendly. This hotel interpretation is dog friendly only. The front desk person said you have to call if you have a pet. The website says nothing about calling for a reservation if you have a pet. I would not recommend this hotel based upon the customer service alone. read more

I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel. From the pictures it looked decent but it is not. When we first arrived there was a "problem" with our reservation so we waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes for them to figure it out. Then in the morning instead of continental breakfast we got a brown bag with a yogurt, granola bars and a really heathy plastic rapped danish. Which I also had to wait 15 minutes for and when the girl finally showed up she was extremely rude. At least the guy who work the night shift was nice. Also the beds are not that comfortable and the sink and the bath tub must be clogged because they would fill up when being used and drain very slow. I will not be staying here or at any other location ever again. read more

On a road trip from California up to Washington, and back down to California. On our way down through Oregon, our car broke down on the side of the road and we had to find accommodations quickly. Days Inn was close, quick to book, and easy to check in. Staff was very helpful with recommendations to eat, and extremely friendly in general. We are still waiting on our car to be fixed by the repair shop today and we were given 2 extra hours to check out, and we are now sitting in our own private lobby while we wait for our car to finish being repaired. This was really nice to have during such a stressful time. I really appreciate both front desk attendants for both days we stayed, I would recommend this hotel. Thank you again, Days Inn staff and management. read more

Worst service I've ever had at a hotel. TV remote and cable never worked despite daily complaints and promises that "someone would be fixing it tomorrow ". Spotty maid service. The beds were sometimes made, the toilet was sometimes cleaned. "Breakfast included " was 3 granola bars and a yogurt. The only bright spot was Ryn, who was quite friendly and did her best to be helpful. Rest of staff acted like they were doing us a big favor by doing the absolute minimum. So...really can't recommend. read more

If you love the smell of cigarette smoke and cat urine this place is for you! After a long drive we needed to hang our hat. I am an avid Yelp user and always check beforehand, but trusted my friend. Being tired I turned a blind eye. Be warned: The parking spots are tight, our room smelled like cat urine (room 112) and the hallways of cigarette smoke- for $100 it was a cheap place to close our eyes- I will admit I slept well and the staff was friendly. If glamour is your thing, spend the extra $30 and stay elsewhere :/ read more

I typically never really stay in hotels like this. But, we needed something close and inexpensive and this was it. Don't touch the bedspread. Just trust me on this. Rooms are smelly. Stuffy. Bad linens and towels. Mediocre front desk staff. Place smells like curry. Our room was cleaned late every day. Iron and ironing board are impossible to find. Parking lot has really small spaces and people who cannot park. You pay a deposit for the safe. Not sure why, but just make sure you get your money back when you check out. Internet was in and out. Computer in lobby rarely worked, and if it did, it was hogged with an old guy who spent his life on Facebook. Example status update: In Gresham, Oregon. Raining out today. Beautiful scenery, but rainy. Not a lot going on in Gresham. Duh. Only perk: Burgerville across the lot. Go there for breakfast. Then hit Bon Teriyaki for lunch. read more

This is a good place to stay overnight if you are coming from out of town and going to a concert at the Edgewood Theatre. It has Burgerville (all organic burgers) in the same parking lot! The reason I gave it a 3-star is because when I arrived, the front desk receptionist (young girl) couldn't be found for 15 minutes. She also took the bell away, so I couldn't ring it to call her. Oddly enough, next morning we went to grab breakfast and there was a homeless lady who was eating in the breakfast room. No one said anything, because we were all probably thinking the same thing. After breakfast, she was asking to get a room, but was refused. She then started to walk down the hall towards my room right before me, then instead of exiting, she left upstairs. Not sure what happened after that, but it has been a strange stay here. Besides all this strangeness, I will say that the owners were nice. read more

Staff was very sweet. She was crazy busy but was very nice and made sure to let me know she had seen me and would be with me soon. The room, was shmeh. The room smelled AWFUL and had a HUGE yellow stain on the carpet. The first thing my husband said when he walked in was 'Did someone die in here?'. It was only for one night, which is okay. I would have spent a lot more money for a nicer hotel if anything had been available. The pool was small, but welcomed relief from the heat. Other than the room stink and the stain on the carpet, the hotel was worth the money and okay for just one night. Any more than that and it would have been awful. read more

Former employee here. Do NOT go here. There was a recent situation regarding bedbugs. And the room was not treated. Bed was removed and floor vacuumed. The bedding is reused as motels often do. The housekeeping is a great crew who works hard under a bad situation tho. read more

Ok so the hotel itself was decent. Appeared quite clean & the room had all the amenities one could need and then some. The woman at the front desk was also pretty pleasant...which is why I feel slightly bad for giving this hotel a 1-star review. However, a few days after I left the hotel, I received a phone call from someone who's name I couldn't understand (thick, possibly Indian accent). I'm not sure if this was the owner or someone in management but, he proceeds to tell me that he's having trouble charging my card due to insufficient funds. For what? "Supposedly" the woman at the front desk whom I checked out with, returned my deposit to the card on file as well as, in cash. I quickly checked my account...there was no deposit credited. I explained this to the man which for some reason, he either didn't understand or didn't care about. I told him that it's considered very rude to just go charging people's cards as he sees fit & hung up. Days later, I see there's a charge of $50 on my account from Days Inn. First of all, the deposits there are $100, not $50. Secondly, there was still a lack of this mysterious accidental deposit return. It's been weeks and I'm still battling this hotel and trying to dispute the unwarranted charge! read more

Place was awful, gross, icky. Stayed for 1 night, but prepaid for 4, on an online site. After nearly 1 month of emails, calls, and complaints...I was refunded for nearly all of the entire paid amount. Basically I ended up paying about 20.00 for the 1 night I actually stayed there. My frustration never ended with them, even in the refunding, the manager included a note that basically said they were doing this as a favor for me, that it isn't policy to refund an unused portion of a prepay. I get that, but this wasn't the case with my prepay, I contacted Citi-Rewards, they had no issue with generating a refund, it just had to be approved by the hotel manager. Before I left the hotel, I confirmed with the manager that there would be a refund, no questions asked. When Citi contacted them, numerous times, the manager "wasn't in", couldn't remember, or whatever. Citi reported to me that they had the same frustrations and experienced poor service from that hotel just as I did. In one of my conversations with the hotel, they simply hung up on me, said, "the managers not in" then click. I absolutely hate when someone owes you a refund, promises it, then they don't follow through. After BBB complaints, letters to Days Inn Corporate, they finally generate a refund, but not without letting me know it was a "favor" and "not policy". Seriously, she could have just said "I'm sorry, it was an oversight" or "we forgot to process it". Anything would be better than laying back on me. With that attitude, no wonder this place is run down. They act like they are doing the traveller the favor. Maybe they need a lesson in hospitality. read more

Checked in at 630pm, left for dinner, returned at 930pm, turned down the beds, both sets of sheets were dirty and stained. Kind lady at the desk brought up different sheets, I stripped the beds and went to put on the 'clean sheets' which were also stained and dirty. We booked a different hotel and packed up to leave. The front desk had to call the manager to request that I be compensated. They had already charged us for 3 nights and wanted to refund half. I said that was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager who refused to talk to me. The girl at the desk told me this is an ongoing issue and has not been corrected. Terrible! The front desk was inconsiderate! My toilet didn't even have a flasher. There was a hole where a flasher was supposed to be. They had to come into my room at 10:30 at night after I went to bed so I can at least flush the toilet in the middle of the night if I needed to. I had to move furniture to hook up the cable box. Every time I turned off the TV I had to move the dresser to turn the TV on by turning on the cable box. The hallway smelled like marijuana. And my non-smoking room reeked of smoke. They would not move me. I will never stay here again. When I made a complaint all the front desk clerk said was "I know." Terrible! I won't become a member of this rewards club. Booked this hotel for a king size bed. When I arrived to check in, was placed in a queen size room and told they were out of king rooms. Front desk staff informed me that there would be no adjustments for my room because it was a downgrade. Management was horrible and refused to do anything about it either. Bed was hard as a rock. Shower was broken and no hot water. Loud dogs and kids screaming all night heard through the paper thin walls. This property has gone downhill. When we checked in it took about 10 minutes to get anybody to come to the front desk. Our room was at the end of the hallway, first floor, right next to the exit door. Every time someone would come in or out the door, it would slam shut. Waking us up in the middle of the night and then again starting about 5 in the morning. The toilet was not secured to the floor and wobbled when sitting on it. The towel rack was coming off the wall. The heater took about an hour to warm the room so it was comfortable, we had keep our jackets on. Will NOT be staying there ever again. read more

Had a great time at this hotel. Very friendly staff. Always made sure we had breakfast and made it feel like a welcoming place.

Warm and helpful manager, Anisha, made our stay especially good. This Days Inn provided a spacious room, with complete complement of in-room features (free WiFi, frig, microwave, in-room coffee, iron, safe - 5 pillows!). Also - indoor pool, computer service, and standard breakfast. This was a good value-for-money accommodation, but it was the particularly generous and gracious manager (Anisha personally helped us solve our prickly computer problem) who made our stay more than satisfactory. We recommend. read more

RUN, RUN, RUN!!! Booked three nights thru Expedia, the room I had was 15 feet from a busy road, the noise kept me up all night. The room was uninhabitable. The next morning I advised the desk clerk. He did not offer me another room, so I checked out early. He advised me that I would be charged for an additional day, since I prepaid through Expedia, he curtly said there was "nothing he could do for me" and it was "policy". My husband and I were horrified with this place. I have stayed in 1000s of motels and hotels around the world while traveling growing up. Every motel 6 I have ever stayed at has even been cleaner. There are stains everywhere in this place, it smells bad, I didn't even want to take a shower in the bathroom cause I was scared I would catch something. It is not worth the cost at all. If they offered us a free night at this place to make up for our bad experience we wouldn't do it. When I went to check out the staff member in the lobby was on her phone and took a while to even acknowledge me. Didn't ask how the stay was (I wonder why!). The breakfast was okay but overall bad experience with this place. It's in a great location. Such a shame! Spend the extra money for a different hotel or pay less and stay at motel 6. read more

Touted as a *** AAA hotel, but it had a dingy, dated feel. When I arrived on the afternoon of 7/12/17 I found that the room A/C did not work. I asked the woman at the front desk to have it put into working order while I was out for the rest of the day. When I returned around 9:00 PM, my room was sweltering. The evening woman at the desk suggested that I unplug the A/C, wait 30 seconds an plug it back in to see if it worked, which it didn't. She was able to get it to work, but it would take an hour or so to get the room cooled down. She offered to give me another room, but said that it would take the same amount of time to cool it down. When I went to check out the next day, I asked to be compensated for the A/C problem. The man at the desk stated that he would need to speak to his manager. He said that he would contact me by phone, and that there would be a 25 - 30% refund. This is 7/21, and I have not heard from them. Also, the continental breakfast was rather skimpy. read more

I booked a room at this hotel several days in advance online. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room because I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. When we arrived they tried to put us in a smoking room...when I objected the lady at the desk said they were all booked up and only had smoking rooms left. I said I couldn't take the smoking room and asked if there was anything she could do. She called the closest days inn location and they were also booked, so she shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. So she pointed us in the direction of a Travelodge, so even though it was more expensive and lower quality we went there. She did not seem to care that they had made a mistake in our reservation. I was very frustrated with my experience. I won't go back. read more
