The reputation of this fantastic community donut shop speaks for itself and I really don't need to leave a review to support what the locals already know. Still, I am inclined to leave a '5' to offset the unfair '1' left by 'Cali C' from California who assumed the 'racist' couple (they're Asian, she's white... I'm so confused?) who owns the place overcharged her for four dozen donuts because they saw the nice truck she drives. I tested the overcharge theory... and please note that my dozen included 'big' and 'small' donuts (her words, not mine.. I can only assume she means the cake donuts are the smaller ones.). She thought her 4 dozen donuts @$13.50 should not cost her $60, but 4 dozen at that price is a total of $54, and then there's this thing in NE called tax... and it runs a little high. Sure enough, my dozen donuts were $13.50; an even $15 with tax. If I'd bought 4 dozen, that works out to $60. Cali's review has zero merit; she got charged exactly what the rest of us get charged, which was exactly what was advertised. The racism and 'I drive a nice truck' comments tell me all I really need to know about her, beyond the poor girl's issues with math. As for the store and the donuts... wow... the store is immaculately clean and smells amazing. And there's a reason the donuts run out fast... they literally melt in your mouth. The owner? She's a doll... she threw in a bunch of donut holes (again, several already eaten before I remembered to take a photo) because she's a generous sweetheart who bakes pure heaven! Or maybe she saw my rental car and felt sorry for me. . Get up and get there early. Worth it!!! read more

We decided we were hungry and saw that we could get a sausage roll on the menu. We are excited to eat something along with the donuts, but when our food comes out; the supposedly sausage rolls are cold ass hot dogs shoved into a cold croissant. The worst part was that they were not even wrapped; just shoved into a sack. We then happily decided to go to McDonalds because we did not want to eat that shit. read more

Just went in to buy 4 dozen donuts. I read the menu and picked the $13.50 dozen packs and the racists workers charged me SIXY!!! $60!!!!! SIXY FLIPPING DOLLARS for 4 dozen. Unfortunately for them they are losing my business forever. Never. NEVER coming back. They take advantage. I genuinely feel like they saw the truck I drive and decided what I could afford rather than listening to what I wanted. Money hungry husband and wife. 0 out of 10. Nice little donut shop with a good variety and tasty donuts. The cake donuts are light and airy and perfectly fried. I especially liked the cherry glaze on my donut. Worth the stop if you are in the area and craving donuts and coffee. read more

You'd better arrive early because they may run out of your donuts otherwise. The lady who makes them is very nice and helpful. They are doing takeout only right now because of COVID19 but they do have a few small tables inside too. The donuts are huge, tender, and delicious. They must be using quality ingredients because they are the best this area has to offer by far (I have tried all the rest). And you know they are fresh because they run out of them! We got a raspberry filled donut that was bigger than average with a huge amount of filling. There is no skimping here and no stale food. The cinnamon twist and the apple fritters rival any in large metropolitan areas. This business deserves to prosper as the area needs good quality products. Someone said they are expensive. Went to the store Saturday morning at 9 am to buy 10 dozen donuts. Was very surprised to see that there were only about 15 donuts in the case! I watched as 3 groups of customers left without purchasing anything! Shouldn't a donut shop keep their case full? I will buy my donuts from Walmart. Prices are outrageous too! read more
