I love this place. I have lived all over the country, and have had many donuts in my 40+ years, but these very well may be the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Chocolate raised being my favorite, but the rest are amazing as well. Sometimes the service can be a bit prickly, but still the best donuts I've ever eaten. A must when in Sidney. read more

Staying in Sidney for work the last few months. Locals recommended that I check out The Rolling Pin bakery. Glad I did! Totally awesome donuts, pastries and breakfast croissants. They also have lunch specials 4 days a week. Haven't tried any lunch yet but definitely will. They open up at 5 am, so if you are just staying at a hotel in Sidney for the night you can still swing by and see Neal and be back on the road early if you want. As with most donut shops, get here early for the best selection. The man behind the counter is super friendly and personable. The woman behind the counter is cranky and short with people. The coffee is weak, moreso like tea. Great donuts-delicious and fresh. They do tend to skimp on the maple or chocolate on top of the donuts. Good place, but lacking. read more

Spent the night in your city and stopped for some fresh baked goods on our way home to Illinois. What a wonderful way to start the day! The glazed twist I got was huge and so fresh it practically melted in my mouth. We also got 4 goods to go and it really made our day! If it wasn't 1000 miles a day I would be a daily customer! I stopped here on a cross-country road trip. I waited in line for some delicious donuts and apple fritter. The coffee was average, but the best part of my experience was interacting with a local guy who took the coffee cup right out from underneath me and poured his own cup! No judgment, it actually gave me a huge laugh! I'm so thankful for finding a tasty spot like this to grab some sweet treats for breakfast. My dogs especially loved the bacon maple bars! read more

Delicious fresh donuts! Always get friendly fast service when I am sleepy in the morning. I broke out of my tried and true routine of a basic glazed donut and tried some others. They were also excellent. The jelly filled had so much jelly it was oozing out everywhere. Yum! read more
