I have drove past here almost everyday since being here so we thought we would try it out. I order a raspberry cream filled donut and my partner order the raspberry cream bear claw. We were very satisfied! The nice older womer was very friendly and very warm when we walked in. The atmosphere was very relaxing and cozy. We even scored free donut bites! read more

I went in for the first time because I love to support Mom and Pop places. Immediately I was reluctant to purchase anything because the woman behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask, and had her face directly in the case of donuts. She was also handling boxes without gloves on. There was hardly anything to choose from (at 9am), and they didn't have what I was looking for. I used that as an excuse to politely leave, because I am uncomfortable buying food from a place that doesn't take mask and glove protocols seriously during a pandemic. I would be willing to try again in the future if and when they take better precautions to protect their customers. read more

Went in today with my family for the first time it was around 10 am they are open 6am to 12pm So options was fritters that's all that was left around here a lot of people work early so you need to get there early for the full selection got some fritters and the was one of the best fritters I have had in along time would love to get in earlier and experience more options read more

Very good selection from the basics to a little more fancy. The shop was clean and organized, with little trinkets/art that you can buy. Now to the donuts. On the plain glazed donuts, I actually thought they tasted like Krispy kreams. They were very fluffy and buttery. The best part about it is that they are open early, very nice if you work at the site. read more

The sole other review says they ship the doughnuts from the other location. I doubt this, since the other location is gone. The place definitely smells like doughnuts, and I've had great filled fritters here two days in a row. The coffee is even drinkable, though not spectacular. They will in fact fill doughnuts to orders but they only have five fillings, not the ten credited to the late other location. They open at 0445 and stay open till they're sold out, which can apparently happen any time between 0800 and noon, according to the lady working there. I highly recommend the pineapple-filled fritter. The peach was good too, as was a chocolate and a custard filled Bismarck. read more

Pretty good! We came for their apple fritters, but they were all sold out. They also have discontinued their gluten free donuts, so there aren't any gluten free options. But their maple donuts and raspberry filled donuts are great! read more

New to the area .been looking for a good donut place .been driving by daylights almost every day thinking , I gotta stop by, finally stopped by got myself a dozen donuts .half premium half regular $24 a little steep ,quite a bit steep actually. I get in the car drive to the grocery store . get myself some milk. take a bite of the 1st donut .wasn't impressed, taste like the oil was old. They needed to change it. I got some fritters. tried their lemon one, not bad but still with the old oil ,didn't taste right. Highly disappointed so now I'm still looking for a good donut shop read more

Went to Daylight for the first time today and purchased a lemon bar. (Being that there were hardly any donuts available to purchase) Took it with me to work, went to take a bite... and there was a HAIR IN THE LEMON! Threw it away, and won't be going back. read more

Used to work.for Daylight donuts back in the 80's in North Idaho. Donuts were really good. The chocolate for the cake donuts was really point on. The Bavarian cream was real made with real butter, not fake. There are not alot of donut shops here in the Northern states not like in the South. Daylight used to be really, really good but something has happened over the years and there are very few left. read more

This is a new location located by Bajio and across the street from Bed, Bath and Beyond. I was very disappointed for two reasons: 1. The doughnuts were very inconsistent between moist and fresh, and stale and day old. If I go to a doughnut shop I expect fresh doughnuts. 2. The place didn't smell like doughnuts (should have been a big red warning sign), which means they don't make them at this location (and I was there at 9am, early enough to smell fresh delicious new doughnuts) = they ship them from the Pancheri location = stale day old doughnuts because they don't control stock at this location. Not all the doughnuts where stale tasting but it was super annoying to bite into a soft yummy one and then bite into a blah hockey puck doughnut. For now, I think I will stick with the Pancheri location. read more

The perfect morning stop! Glad I discovered it. Fresh ground coffee, fresh donuts and family owned... what more could you ask for. If you like fritters make sure you try the raspberry fritter it's top notch. If your more of a filled donut type the mango filled is a nice twist on the traditional filled donut. read more

I'm always on the lookout for non-chain donuts, even better if they're smaller places like Daylight. You know you're in for something when the place was/is someone's home, and walking in at 5 AM was amazing, during this season they were making their pumpkin spice donuts, and it wasn't overpowering or anything. Luckily they were made hot and fresh around that time, so I snagged some of those in addition to some old favorites like the classic sourdough donut and a regular maple glazed. The regular donut was amazing, the bread portion was very chewy, but light enough, but the glaze is the real winner here since it had a kind of outer crust but gooey under layer, that and it tasted all home-made. The sourdough was excellent as well, kind of what you'd normally expect in a lot of other donut shops, but better. And the pumpkin spice? All I can say is that I'm sad I can't get more, or that I'm going to miss out on all their other seasonal donuts. Oh and one more thing, they use Square here for their card transactions, so don't worry if you don't have any cash on hand! read more

Biggest plus is that they are open early. Good selection of donuts but a dozen is pretty expensive - with taxes it is over $12 for the cheaper option. Donuts are definitely as good as Baker's Dozen. read more
