I have it on good authority that this is still the case and the fact that they are still going strong after all of these years is testament to the fact too. Its also worth noting that you can order your Xmas products online. Whenever ive gone in the service has always been very cheery - even when theyve been packed to the rafters, and the staff are always willing to give advice on how long to cook things for, best cuts of meat etc. The meat we have had from here has always been superb, if, like i said earlier, somewhat pricey - but lets face it, you pay for good quality. As a child whenever we walked past this shop (which was often as it was next door to our local chippy) I would hiss 'low snakes' at the window. It's worth noting that I was also a vegetarian in those days so y'know butchers weren't my favourite places anyway. It's a rather different story these days - I am quite the black pudding buff and I love a nice bloody steak so figuring that Dad would understand I popped into this place to see what kind of thing they offered. Organic meat and home made sausages featured heavily. They had an impressive display of faggots and it all looked pretty high quality. However the staff were a bit grumpy - I wonder if this was because they'd seen me taking photos outside or whether perhaps they recognised me from my 'low snakes' days. Either way - and it pains me to say it - this is an impressive shop.
