Moe is still there but not alllll night. She closed her shift around 9. Seems like a new party crowd mixed the the old timers... a DJ showed up and so did security and a doorman that charged admission after 9 or 10. I loved the upgrades to the back patio area.

The menu selections were broad enough to be interesting, but not so deep that it felt overwhelming…read more I created a tasting, taking it slow, and enjoyed each of my selections. Starting with the Mt. Beautiful Estate Sauvignon Blanc, found this good. It's good, but not great. It's a decent wine but I think there are other more interesting Australian wines out there. The Rabble Rosé from Paso Robles was crisp with just an edge of tart. Like roasted strawberries, if that makes sense. And the Seaglass Riesling from the central coast is now a fave. It's a sweeter wine and a good end to a tasting, for sure. Glad I explored that one. It far exceeded my expectations. The vibe is good. The team is wonderful, caring and attentive, even if their internet went down and they weren't able to process cards quickly. They kept their frustrations focused on the tech and their attention on their customers. And the people who come in - there for a good time. This was our first experience here. We'll be back, for sure!

Really disappointed with my experience today. I'm a local in Benicia and have been here before, but…read morethis visit completely changed my perception. I was not allowed with my 5 month old baby to have a glass of wine in the patio. I was told there's a "no under 21" rule that apparently includes babies. That honestly didn't make sense to me. this is an infant, not even eating solid food yet. I've been to wineries in Napa with my baby and never had an issue, so this felt unwelcoming. This felt like a made up rule to protect non-mother customers, and Benicia is known for that. Horrible. What made it worse was how it was handled. The waitress(blonde, short hair mid-aged lady) came off rude and said, "no under 21, sorry--unless it's a dog haha," and then told me I could go to the taphouse on the corner. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I even tried calling afterward to speak with a manager, but no one answered. Overall, it left a really bad impression, and I don't feel comfortable coming back after this.

Great place to come play pool with friends and have drinks…read more I started coming here in high school with some friends when we felt like playing pool. And just recently started coming here because I forgot about this place and I am able to legally drink now. The prices of the tables per hour range from $6-$8 depending on the size of the table. They have about 15 pool tables, an arcade area and the bar, it's pretty big in there. It's mostly older Mexican men who come here, but it's a fun place to go with friends. They have a juke box which has some good tunes, and is really loud. And back in high school I remember a mariachi band coming in at times. So if you're looking for somewhere to play pool nearby, try this place.

There were a couple other events taking place, but it did not take away from my friends birthday Celebration. The staff was great, there was a particular bartender who was super sweet. I did not get a chance to order a drink at the bar per se, however, I did have a glass of champagne that was brought out to celebrate my friend and toast her for her birthday! I did meet the DJ who was super nice, I feel like he's my new friend! You know us, we love a good beer and food. When we first entered we were stopped because of our service dog, but then were told he was welcome. The atmosphere was a bit quiet but very friendly once we sat down 4.5/5. The inside is stunning, it's clear there was A LOT of attention to fine details. The lighting, chandeliers, screens, stage, color schemes, clearly different sections, and gorgeous furniture were all picture worthy and photo ready should you come and post 4.9/5. The service was friendly, the drinks were cold and served very quickly 4.8/5. We were ready to order, but my dietary needs put somewhat of a halt to that. We were going to share something, but there are limited vegetarian/vegan options currently, so we decided not to order tonight. The food options include chili nachos, chili friends. BBQ chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, and I believe an all meat option, plus fries and onion rings Al La Carte. Menu gets a 3.5/5 because I cannot leave a true food review yet, but will update when I do! Overall, I rate this establishment at 4.5/5, for now!
