Andreas was friendly and helpful - took one look at the key, glued it together so he could laser cut a copy, and it was $20 all together. My SO will be going back for a second copy - just in case. They had door handles, padlocks, and several different makes and models of car keys on the walls. Juan instantly understood what we wanted, emailed brochures & then had samples sent directly from overseas to our home to save us time. Originally I was quoted $29,300 for a kitchen with 42 inch cabinets up top. I told Genesis, that…read moresize would not fit, but she told me is okay, the installer would correct the sizes. Then the installer said the top cabinets would have to be 36 inches instead; however when he came to take down the cabinets he determined the cabinets had to stay the same height at 30 inches. I called Genesis and told her and she still claimed the cost was the same. How could the cost be the same as 42 inch cabinets?!?!?! Your losing an entire foot of space in each of those top cabinets. I was floored that she did not offer to decrease the cost of the kitchen and I had to ask. I had to ask twice...when they went from 42 inches to 36 inches and again when they went to 30 inches. She also had to take out two cabinets because she put the wrong measurements on the pantry wall. Supposedly, the price still hadn't changed. According to her, the extra work the contractor did was included because of that. Additionally, I was told the work would take 3 days....it took a month. A month is what it took. Imagine being without a working kitchen for a month for two people. The amount of food we had to buy and prepare in bedroom because the entire kitchen/dining, and living room areas was full of dust for a month. The contractor was late and sometimes did not show up when he said he would. There were a couple of times when I couldn't even reach him because something was wrong with his phone. There was a miscommunication with the company and the contractor and they didn't explain to him that I wanted blind corners. He had to change the configuration of the cabinets because the dishwasher couldn't go where it was originally planned. Lastly, there was an offer for a free wine cooler. They delivered the wine cooler in an opened box. You could tell the box had been opened and the cooler taken out. I looked at the box later on that evening and noticed an Amazon sticker on it that stated "Thanks to you, this product has a second life. We appreciate it. Amazon Warehouse, Amazon Renewed, and Fulfilled by Amazon." However, never was I told it was a recycled product. Their own Instagram post says "Get a NEW and free beverage center." I spoke with the owner and questioned him about this. He assured me that it was a brand new wine cooler. I still don't believe it. I will not be surprised if the wine cooler stops working. I was just happy to have my house back to myself and be able to clean up and get back to living and cooking for myself again.
