State Farm contacted All in Towing of Elkins, WV and arranged for them to make the long drive in the storm with near 0 degree temperatures to get me back on the road and get it home where I had gone after leaving the truck behind. They called to explain in advance that it would be a few hours to reach me and after they got the truck back on the road, they contacted me again to come bring the keys. Due to the road conditions, we agreed Ed it was safer for me to drive home than them to load up and bring it. I jumped the car, and it started up and I took it to Colonial Court which is five minutes down the road from me. When I got there, I went in to speak to someone about figuring out what was going on with my car. During the conversation an older guy was very rude to me and cut me off mid-sentence after he asked me what was wrong with my car. They then told me that my battery was most likely dead, and I would need to get it replaced. After they looked at the car, they came back to me and told me that the price would be 204.95 plus additional fees. I then called my family to talk to them about the pricing and he said it was outrageous to pay that for a battery that has been replaced prior to this date. After I got off the phone, I went back inside and told the guy that I would not be paying 204 dollars for a battery, they got an attitude with me. What caught me by surprise was the guy started my car perfectly fine to pull it into the garage. After I decided, I wasn't going to pay that price, I decided to get another test done on my battery at Auto Zone on Harrison Ave in Elkins and the guy there said my battery was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong with my car. The reason for this complaint is because I don't not appreciate the disrespect i received from Colonial Court and that they tried to take advantage of me as a young female college student. I still had to pay them some money just because they tested my battery. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THESE GUYS

It was a hot sunny day so we were concerned about mom's well being. It was also Saturday, so service wasn't easy to come by. AAA was busy and didn't show up. Long wait times. I called the local AAA certified mechanic, and he referred us to Steve at Action Towing. Steve was responsive, kind, and considerate. He jumped into action. Drove out 40 odd minutes to our location, and towed us another 30 minutes to the only tire shop in the area that was open at the time. Friendly, efficient service. Reasonable charge. We were very lucky that Steve Davis, owner of Action Towing was called to the scene to pick up our car. We could not get a rental car since it was after noon on a Saturday and the only full service rental car agency in the county had closed for the weekend. Steve called around for some other alternatives and when those did not bear fruit, he went to incredible lengths to make sure we had a vehicle to drive for the remainder of the holiday weekend and beyond if we needed it. Steve went above and beyond on our behalf and I would highly recommend Steve to everyone. He really cares about his clients and goes out of his way to help in any way he can.

I called them & asked if they could take on my vehicle. They said yes. Within 2 days I had an estimate that they could get it done in 5 days as well as the price they were going to charge my insurance company. My insurance company allowed me a rental for 45 days. I was thrilled....however my excitement was short lived. I went in their establishment 2 weeks after dropping off my vehicle only to be told they couldn't get my car into the garage because they didn't have my keys. They said someone came in claiming to be my daughter & they just gave these individuals my keys. Didnt follow them out, didnt ask for any verification, nada. These individuals ransacked my car & stole my keys. I asked to see the cameras to identify who these individuals were. They refused, said that it had been at least a week & a half since my keys were given away & that it was to much video footage to review. I proceeded to ask why wasn't I contacted when my keys weren't brought back. I was told "oh so many people come in & out of here everyday, we thought you knew". I contacted local law enforcement & they said there wasn't anything that could be done. I then went higher up & contacted the state police. Magically after calling the state police my keys miraculously reappeared later that same day. After a month has gone by i call to inquire about my vehicle. I was told my vehicle wasn't on the books & they would work on fitting it in. However when I called in December they stated they could get it done in 5 days. After 45days my insurance company stopped paying on the rental. So I was stuck paying $316 a week for the next 2months. Well 3 months later & $1000s of dollars wasted I finally received my vehicle back. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. Thank you to my sister who reminded me of these wonderful details."You forgot some details... like your vehicle never moved from the day it was brought in on a tow truck until the day the nice insurance adjuster called to see why you did not have your jeep back. That same day your vehicle mysteriously disappeared behind their shop, again the 1st time it was ever moved since being on their lot. This was after speaking to the insurance adjuster about having it moved to another garage that would have the work done within the next week. Also, you forgot that they asked for another $3300 from the insurance after the adjuster spoke with them... stating there was more damage than originally quoted for in December."
