I personally have had more experience with Shion and cannot say enough good things about her as a provider. To provide an example of her excellent care - she is the provider for my entire family, when one of the family members came down with the flu she called my husband and I to check on us and our baby and to provide care immediately. WOW! I have never had such great healthcare service in my life and I work in healthcare. Additionally, she will work after hours and will ALWAYS call to check-up on you and provide results of your lab tests as soon as possible. Very impressed with this practice and these providers!

Do you ever find a doctor and wonder, how did I become so lucky?…read more Yeah, not that often. I was referred to Dr Kubaska by my OB and what a nice experience every time you come in. The MA remembers you, so friendly and not overbearing. The receptionist is just as nice and doesn't ask you the same question every minute. And the doctor has some of the best bedside manner I have seen and even has small talk with you. I really hope he never retires because I'm not sure where to find another internist. Sorry, he only takes referrals, but maybe you can get lucky and get in.

I went through about five different offices before finding this one, and I love it. The furniture is suuuuper comfy in the waiting room, and even with that the wait is never long to see someone. I've never been seen by Dr. Eagan. I've seen Kate Johnson several times and the last time I went I saw Susan Esmond. They have both been a pleasure to see and have made awkward conversations more pleasant to have. They have also given me very good recommendations for specialists who have helped me with various issues. It's also very conveniently close to my apartment being at Rose Medical Center, and the building it's in offers valet parking if you don't want to find your own spot. I will definitely be sticking with this doctor's office while I'm living in Denver!

The practice didn't even call in an A1c test the 2nd time- just lipids. This practice has no interest in its patients. It is sloppy and no one I have ever spoken to has even modest active listening skills. The front desk is unfriendly. I cannot recommend it for any reason.

Particularly enlightening was the repeated mention that their telephone system is broken. My husband was sick at the time and throwing up, but the only appointment they had was for the next week (not their fault). I then asked if a nurse could give me some advice and the front desk woman cut me off to say "no one here can help you with that!" ..... What?! You're a doctors office, your ENTIRE job is to help with medical concerns! I asked if he could be given a physical at his appointment and she said no. When I asked why, I got the illuminating explanation of "that's not how we do things." She tried to tell me they needed one appointment just to meet him and take his medical history and an entirely separate appointment to do a physical. I'm not a doctor, but I've never heard of that before. The front office person's whole demeanor was curt and dismissive. That may not be reflective of the doctors there, but don't put someone on the phones that can't talk to people nicely if you want to grow your practice. I'm going somewhere where they actually take patients seriously and treat them with some level of decency.
