Pampered Pups Grooming - Jasper wanting to walk but being a good boy - even though he ate a messy bone

OMG! I don't even know where to begin. Kaylee was sent from heaven to me. For starters, I loved the…read morereminder texts they sent. It was very helpful. The communication from the staff was not too much but enough to help me every step of the way from the booking process, explaining everything to expect in the appointment, to the professional and super friendly behavior, the exceptional service, and most important the way they listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable enough to leave my baby in their care. My dog was previously mistreated at a prior, corporate groomer and I was concerned. I explained this to Kaylee and she had the kindest expressions and calmly assured me of their process. Plus the past two to three groomings from that groomer left things undone - including cleaning his beard. When I dropped him off, Kaylee got on his level and covered him with care and he didn't throw too much of a fit. When I picked him up, I was astounded. He was the cleanest I had ever seen, he was happy, and adorable. Kaylee took pics of him I front of a backdrop that was adorable. They don't put the dogs in crates and they are great about giving you a notice to pick up. I just can't give enough compliments or recommendations for this place. I am so grateful I found this groomer and wish I had found them earlier. Jasper was in great spirits afterward and very playful. He had a great time and made a new friend. Best grooming by service by far! Oh and my favorite? Kaylee did a blow out on his tail. It is so freaking cute. I absolutely love her! The orange background photos were provided by the groomer.

Awful need to handle situations issues better when animals have a bad day or whatever reason it…read moreis. Not get an attitude or send a text to the customer saying I should find another groomer and the behavior of my pet is the issue which was only the last visit it was mentioned to me about gracie being not herself. 1 time only. And yes since 2023 been coming to you no you have not addressed any concerns you had with cancellations as you should realize the covid era we were in and you knew I had a major surgery and could not drive so it was not feasible to have schedule gracie appts in advance Better judgements on people's issues that they had and speaking about concerns you had should of been known at that time not 2 years later when you went on your own and built up your clientele and then said bye bye to Gracie and myself . So let's just say its fair we both explained our selves and Gracie has started with a new groomer and vet and they both have no ck cerns or issues with any aggression behavior you are saying gracie exhibited with you as well. Pampered Pups Grooming (Owner) 10 hours ago Tanesha, I am more than happy to take constructive criticism, I'm always happy to learn how I can better improve my pup's experiences here at the salon. But attacking my character and dishonesty are things I do not take lightly. For starters you had been bringing Gracie to since 2023. In these two years I have only groomed Gracie 9 times (for reference Gracie is a dog that should be coming at least 6-8 times a year). Within those two years I have had 10 cancellations from you. Never once have I ever given you a hard time, charged you any cancellation fee nor requested a deposit to reschedule. But where the issue lies, is that I am one person with over 350 clients. I book out at least 12 weeks. So when you have to reschedule and don't have multiple appts booked in advance, it's about a 2-3 month wait. I had numerous conversations with you about Gracie's progressing dominance aggression. I work with an abundance of dogs with fear based aggression and have great results with them. But dominance aggression comes from dynamics at home. That has to be worked out at home, and preferably with a professional trainer which we discussed. Due to the combination of the constant cancellations and Gracie's progressing aggression, I did not feel that I was the right fit anymore. At my salon the wellbeing of my pup's come first. Gracie needs to be with a groomer with a lighter schedule that can accommodate your cancellations and keep her on an appropriate schedule. That way that trust between her and her groomer can be created and maintained. That is simply not achievable with her coming to me 2-3 times a year. I sent a very kind and purposeful message to you explaining this (which I will copy and paste into this as well). I in turn was met with multiple harassing messages from you including you telling you hope I don't have children. How you have handled this situation says more about you than it does myself and how I run my salon. I wish you guys the best and hope Gracie finds a groomer then can better fit her needs. The message I sent you ," Hi Tanesha, I'll cancel the 18th, unfortunately my books for are full for the rest of the year. Over the past few visits, I've noticed some increasing behavioral challenges that make it difficult to give her the calm, positive experience I strive for with all my clients. In addition, with the cancellations and my current booking schedule being several months out, it's been tough to maintain the consistent grooming routine that's best for her. Because of this, I think it would be in Gracie's best interest to work with a groomer who has more flexibility and availability to keep her on a regular schedule. This will really help her stay comfortable and confident with the grooming process. I truly appreciate you trusting me with her care up to this point, she's such a sweet girl, and I wish you both the very best moving forward." The message you sent me in response, "Sorry you could not handle gracie best luck with other dogs hopefully you don't have children as one off day and you throw them away too like you did with Gracie whom was with you for a long time. Good luck with getting recommendations at least not from me won't be"

Dissappointed, disgusted, furious are a few of the words I would use to describe how I feel about…read moreOlivia's Happy Tails. Khaleesi has been to the groomers since she was a puppy. In her 6 years of life, she's never had a bad experience. She's even gone to the groomers pregnant, couple days before giving birth, and had no issues. Since the Velvet Dog is closed, we were forced to go elsewhere. I warned the new groomers that Khaleesi doesn't enjoy the electric clippers. In fact she will try to get the clippers. Similar to how she attacks the vacuum when I pull it out. When I picked her up after work, the woman explained Khaleesi didn't handle being on the table well but they were able to get it done and keep her beard like I asked. Nothing more was said about her behavior or experience. Upon leaving, these pictures show how I found her eyes. Immediately I began calling the woman I just picked the dogs up from. When asked what happened she had no idea, she explained she didn't work today and she would have to call the girls who groomed her. Now obviously, I wasn't calm, collective, or patient with this woman at this point. I was already annoyed with their business before this happened because of their attitudes each time I had dealt with someone. I also felt that they hadn't let our dogs outside all day while I trusted them in their care, because when she brought them out to me they started peeing everywhere in the lobby. Van Gogh who is very particular where he poops and will take 15 minutes to pick the perfect grass, pooped on the side walk the second I opened the business door. One of the two girls who groomed Khaleesi called me. She took zero accountability and completely lacked any empathy. Both woman tried to blame Khaleesi's eyes being swollen and blood shot on her being stressed and not tolerating the table. They explained she barked all day. They essentially tried to twist it as if Khaleesi was uncooperative and aggressive, insinuating that she did this to herself. I brought Khali to the vet and the vet agrees with us that the excuses the groomers provided would not cause this. The only thing the vet believes that would cause this is if a leash was held too tightly for a long period of time, caused by strangulation. Luckily her retinas and corneas are not damaged and we have a scheduled vet appointment to check on any possible trachea damage.

On day of appointment, sidewalk in front of and to the side of the business had a lot of dog poop and garbage. Waiting room seemed clean and spacious. A young girl shampooed my pup, then put her in a kennel with a fan blowing on her. Hair was flying everywhere. My pup was barking nonstop and at first the owner said I could not go to her because of COVID. I asked for my dog because I was going to leave when she relented and said I could go back there. I was there for 2 1/2 hours! The cut my cocker spaniel got was choppy and uneven on her paws. Her ears were uneven. The hair on her legs was not touched. I could have done a better job. Would not recommend this business to anyone. Do not take your fur baby to Olivia!
