Labour MP for Bristol South, Dawn Primarolo, was one of two Labour MPs to hold their seats in the 2010 election (the other being the wonderful Kerry McCarthy). She was sat on a massive majority of more than 10,000 but this has been significantly reduced. I met her a couple of years ago and she was nice enough but did not seem to follow through on what she said she'd do, perfect politician material I'd say. She was public health minister though you hardly ever say her in the spotlight, which I found a little odd. I also subscribe to her newsletters and they are full of things she is apparently doing so I guess she can't be a bad constituency MP, even though she's only in her Bedminster office one day a week.
