Instead of having…read morestaff complete all the preliminary work ups and not meeting the doctor until the date of the procedure (as is the case with most doctors today), Dr. Isadore greets you at your first visit, explains the ultrasound process describing what he sees as he proceeds and is open to any questions. He prepares you for what to expect at each procedure and even lets you watch if you so desire. Nothing was painful. The worst part was administration of lidocaine and a few injections for removal of spider veins...but thatlasteonly a few seconds. He constantly asks how you are doing. Sue, the office administrator, is so friendly and welcoming. I am so glad a friend recommended him. If you are tired of doctors with big offices where you feel like just another patient, this is the place for you. You will feel like a member of a family.

The back of my calf and my inner knee had veins that were heavy, ached, hot, and not to mention ugly. My dermatologist recommended Dr. Isadore. After setting up a consultation and learning about my options I had the Radiofrequency Ablation procedure. Dr. Isadore and Sue were very professional and answered a million of my questions. The procedure and follow up visits were quick and easy. I had veins on both legs closed and not even 6 months later they look and feel great! The down sides were the inconvenience of wearing compression stockings and a little swelling/ bruising short term but it was so worth it. I wish I did this 10 years ago.

Dr. Sepideh Kazemi is truly one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable cardiologists we have…read moreever met. From the very first appointment, she treated my father with exceptional care, patience, and respect. She took the time to thoroughly explain his condition, answer all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Her expertise, attention to detail, and calm demeanor gave our family great confidence during a very stressful time. It is rare to find a physician who combines such high-level medical knowledge with genuine kindness and empathy. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and outstanding care. I highly recommend Dr. Kazemi to anyone looking for a skilled, professional, and truly caring cardiologist.

It was as if me calling her was bothering her. "Ok sounds good bye." No would you like to reschedule, etc. nothing. You literally are the face of the office and you speak to the patients like this. Update: Dr Kazemi, thank you for your response. I appreciate your professionalism, however, I wouldn't have posted something unless I felt a certain way. The conversation I had with your employee made me feel like my call was being dismissed. We can agree to disagree, but my call was not of importance to her whatsoever. I did not tell her I would call back to reschedule. Before I had a chance to do that, she had said bye, so I'm not sure where you are getting the copies of the phone conversation from? Regardless, thank you for your response.

He is very thorough, professional, follows up and responds to my written communications promptly. He takes his time to answers questions without rushing me out the door. He and his staff gave me exemplary care, and I am glad I followed my intuition, pursuing answers to what didn't seem correct to me w the other two cardiologists. I highly recommend Dr. Miyamoto. It is impossible to overstate the excellence of the care I received from him and his staff. Initially, I requested a Calcium Score Test bc of family history. The results were concerning - a thoracic aneurysm and I consulted w a cardiologist affiliated w St. Jude who ordered an echocardiogram, which was carried out at St. Jude. The results were inconclusive (I later learned) due to the tech not knowing alternate probe placement for my anatomy. The cardiologist at St. Jude was not helpful and really lacking in communication skills. I have later learned the EKG leads were likely placed incorrectly and possible old MI was not addressed in the consult- I read about in MyChart and had to send a message first before I received very unsatisfactory answers - from a Medical Assistant! I guess the cardiologist there couldn't be bothered!! All my communication w Dr. Miyamoto was w him directly. I really appreciated that. When the inconclusive results came in from the echo, I asked for alternative tests and never got a satisfactory answer from Cardiologist 1. I was told to do a stress test, which given the aneurysm diagnosis, I was uncomfortable w. I saw a second cardiologist who spent considerable time w me in my appointment and was a remarkably kind, great communicator, but I felt I still didn't have answers. Finally, I saw Dr. Miyamoto, and I am so grateful I did. He ordered the Cardiac MRI, which Mission Hospital scheduled within a few days time. The results were posted on MyChart the night before a holiday. No aneurysm was detected and the exam was essentially normal!! The next day was a holiday (office was closed) yet I received a message from Dr Miyamoto that my report was "very good" and that I could "follow up w my PCP" and didn't need the stress test or further cardiology work up but could return for care if needed. My message is if something seems unsatisfactory or just doesn't feel right w a doctor, seek further consults until you are comfortable w the provider. It is our own health that we have to guard and advocate for.
