This is a grower-only market and the products are guaranteed to be from Michigan. So, if you are looking to pick up some Michigan produce, meat, cheese, baked goods, or artistries and support some local businesses this is the spot. It will be nice if this market continues to mature into something bigger and more popular. Unlike some of the larger neighboring farmers markets with permanent structures, the vendors here only use temporary event tents and therefore the overall market lacks some simple amenities. The Market is located in downtown Grand Blanc on Grand Blvd and open only on Sundays 10am to 3pm from late May thru October. It's the layout. A better structure would make all the difference. Let's be real, some of these places can be high end, so I would love a cleaner, more polished feel to the place overall. That can start with the central dining area. It's not nice. It could be rustic and a place people would want to sit and have coffee. Unless it's Steady Eddy's, I'm taking my food to go. The place severely needs a makeover. It's right by the college. Capitalize on that. Make it an environment that is friendly and they will come and patronize regularly. I should know- I used to be one of those students. Let's talk about parking. Yep- I'm going to move every last of those orange cones every single time to create more parking. You're welcome people of Flint. Whoever is doing that has no common sense. And now the good- clean bathrooms. Yay! Air conditioned shopping is a plus. There are an excellent variety of vendors. Now do them proud. Tile the floor with interesting art. Bring in different woods to give a homey feel. Get rid of that flea market vibe and make it alt art chic. You're a step away from greatness. You can do this. Reinvest in your structure.

There's parking surrounding the building as it shares lot space with the municipal offices of the city. It's quite a large space, great for expos, fairs, etc. I could even see it as a wedding venue; which it likely is. The are food services spaces and bathrooms inside of the building, and a nice outdoor sitting/dining space.

Many Farmer's Market's fall into the trap of selling tons of merchandise that isn't related to farmers ... such as candles, cute wooden signs, cheap jewelry, and other such tchotchkes. This one didn't ... it had a focus on fresh fruits and vegetables. As you might imagine, a Farmer's Market in a mostly residential area brings parking problems ... but don't give up. Wonderful people, great selection, nice prices. Next time we're in Ann Arbor on a Saturday, we'll be sure to stop.

They've got a great selection of produce, lots of veggies, some yummy breads, and some arts'n'crafty type things. They've got Michigan honey and jams and a super crazy salt booth. Not much for hot foods but you can definitely find something to eat on the spot. Occasionally they have these amazing flower people with beautiful bouquets. Everything is priced to sell and most of the people are pretty swell. FYI - they are seasonal and move to Lake Fenton Middle School after the season for an added 4 weeks (i think).

They were so kind and understanding as we took forever to pick one out and then added more items at checkout (this was right before closing, I might add). I came back again today for some pumpkins for my porch. As soon as I walked in, the employee greeted me with a smile and commented on my sleeping toddler. All the pumpkins, flowers, and other decor were great quality and extremely reasonably priced. I ended up with 6 mid-sized pumpkins for $22, plus a free mini one that she gifted to my son. There were also a few spots set up for photos, and ample parking even once it started to get busier. Overall, this continues to be a great spot and we will be back again for Christmas!
