I was highly disappointed and quite underwhelmed by the recent visit to their farmer's market/greenhouse. Bad service (snippy or none at all), lack of product, way overpriced, and in my opinion subpar produce for the money. Expected to be wowed and came away irritated and I thought it was rather regrettable that I even spent anything here. I love to shop locally and support small businesses etc but the produce, selection, service is far superior at the Flint Farmers Market. I wanted so badly to like this little market, but I don't.. sorry, just being honest.. the bananas did not look up to snuff, the lettuce selection and prices were bizarre (I wound up with overpriced romaine which is wilting and has brown spots), and I had to pick through many bruised up apples just to find a few good ones.. They are organic and made from scratch with the alkaline ionized water, which is produced by the store as well. I love just sitting out on their porch and enjoying delicious, healthy food! They use only organic fruit and fruit juice (no flavored syrups/concentrates, ice, or any unnecessary additives). For my fellow coffee lovers, they have organic coffee (made with alkaline water) everyday. It is so much better than any other coffee I've had! They even have soy coffee creamer! This store has a lot of grocery items that you can't find anywhere else. All kinds of delicious specialty breads, wild caught fish, and grass fed meats.
