Everything seemed fine before I left because of course this was my first trip. The flights seemed pretty high but I accepted that. Our first hotel in Rome, was so difficult to find. It was in an apartment building and the only indication was a tiny nameplate (1/2" x 1 1/2") in a brass apartment plate. After a long day it took an hour dragging luggage all over to find it. A heads up would have been nice. Then we were bitten by bugs during our stay. Our hotel in France was just ok, extremely overpriced. Probably the biggest disappointment was our hotel in Ireland. I reviewed the options presented before booking with my sister who travels extensively and she told us 2 of the 3 hotels offered were loud, had pubs in the hotel, bands all night and if we wanted to get any rest to not choose those 2. So I specifically told Michael we DID NOT want booked in either of those. Well, when we get there, sure enough, we are in one with a pub in it. And they party in Ireland every night of the week. And there is no 2am close. We got no sleep at all and our flight back to London from Ireland was scheduled for 6AM. We not only lost our free breakfast for that day but almost missed our 4AM cab because the streets were filled with people drinking, partying, etc. I know I should have went over the itinerary but I trusted the agency to book for my best interest and being my first trip internationally I was naive. I learned a lot of what NOT to do for future. The nicest and least expensive hotel by far I stayed in was the one I booked myself when I returned to London. I debated contacting Michael when I returned to the states and finally decided to. All I received was a email of sorrys. No reimbursement for the Ireland screwup or the Rome bug biting ordeal. I would NOT use again NOR recommend

We chose the station square location. We arrived 15 min early and were able to board. The weather was absolutely perfect. You could either sit or move about the tiki boat. There was actually more space than I thought there would be. Its also BYOB and food. We had packed a cooler of drinks and snacks. Our 2 hours on the boat was fantastic and I would love to do this again! Highly recommend!

Voyager has been my favorite FBO at the airport and I highly recommend parking there if you're coming in here. This airport is nice because of location, long runways, solid instrument approaches, super reasonable fuel prices and nice folks working in the Tower. Flying in here from the Northwest, you get some nice views of the city of Pittsburgh. It's a class D airport under a class B shelf, but I've never had much trouble being cleared into the class B even if flying VFR. I'm not sure if there are any commercial services here, but if you're looking to learn how to fly or you just got your license and you're looking for a "$100 hamburger" run, KAGC is a great choice. Voyager has some nice courtesy cars they let you use. Flying into KAGC and then going to Meat & Potatoes for brunch or dinner is bound to be a great day out. Happy safe flying!

Did the 7 mile trip today for the first time. It was actually the first time I'd been in a canoe in…read moreabout 15 years! The online booking was fairly straightforward. Both the PFDs and the shuttle vans could use some updating, however. The canoe itself was fine, as were the oars. The river route was very peaceful, with the exception of some choppy water occasionally, with some rocks we had to maneuver around. We did get stuck in a shallow section, but that was on us for not realizing how shallow it was. The take-out was fine, if a little muddy. Overall a good experience.

What if one in your group dips out of the plans. Then you have either paid for person and you're out that money or you have an extra ticket that you may or may not use. Accept a deposit at the time of reservation but the whole thing is a little ridiculous. Pre-covid, they passed out flyers on the shuttle out to the river. If you returned the flyer when you returned, you'd get a free scoop of ice cream. Our family used to love that. We'd still buy more ice cream but after paddling all afternoon, we'd love to sit and relax with our ice cream before loading everything back up and talk about the neat stuff that we seen. This by no means is their fault. I just hope they keep it in mind and bring it back in some way. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. The shuttle that we rode in sounded and felt like it could use some maintenance and because the 2 rental kayaks we rented for our kids-both had tons of pieces of styrofoam, pieces of tree, and spiders in them. You don't have to spray them out after every use but least spray out the kayaks before using them each season.
