I went in and I do have to say the staff was nice.my teeth were extracted and I was given a script for motrin so I though I was good. When the numbness wore off I started a peoriod of pain that was worse than than I have ever had. I have had a a few major surgerys but who would have thought this woukd hurt more. After two days I notced there were several large bone spurs in my extraction wounds. I call the advice I was given eas to alternate tylenol and motrin. After a week I could not take it anymore. I went in for my visit. He went back in and look at alot of extra bone and they were deeper. I was once again given a motrin prescription and sent on my way. I am going to get this out there I am not an opoid addict. I have taken those kind of drugs about three times in my 50 years after surgery. I also have no addition problems. I should have been given something better to help through the first couple of days. My friends have also canceled their appointments because they saw the pure pain and hell I was goibg through. If you are having something done that may leave you will pain issues this is not right doctor for you. Give your patients the option to make the first two day some relief. I have many other issues to beI have many other issues to be addressed but I am facing a trust prolem thinking all dentist are the same I don't know if I will see someone else. I write all of this because I thibk it has been a long time since this doctor has been a patient.

I call they said Feb 26th but they take 1 walk in per day. So my husband was there at 7:30 am. They took a bunch of xrays then sent him to the financial person all the time my husband is in pain. It's going to cost $1000 to pull 4 teeth $4000 for some rinse for gum disease..but guess what his appt isn't until Feb 26th. They always talk about making a plan for you. Hey here's a news flash how about this ask him what he wants you to do. He would have loved to had those teeth pulled right then, but instead he left there still in very bad pain. So really what good are they. A person goes to the dentist bc he's in pain. Now for a little back ground. My husband works for HWI for 28 yrs. He works 10 hr a day, 6 to 7 days a week..he doesn't do drugs. For the last 4 days he can barely eat or drink anything he is still going into work. All Aspen Dental did was take a bunch of x rays and then had him see their financial department and talked to him and sent him on his way. Aspen Dental does only care about money. They don't care about people. We have insurance so the money's there it's like they schedule the work that needs done while they are checking to make sure your insurance goes through. It's all about money. When my husband came home still holding his jaw and looking very pale and telling me he feels like he's going to get sick and you did nothing to help him you should no even be in practice. I am extremely angry at what you put my husband through for absolutely nothing. He's already been 4 days on an antibiotic and you gave him another script to take after he finishes his other ones while he's waiting to be seen. You are pathetic.

Was a patient here for the last 3 or 4 years. I was recently dropped as a patient to cover up a…read moremistake made by one of the secretaries that cased a delay in my care. I have never missed an appointment or not paid my bills. Plus, I have great insurance. I have been needing crowns since March, and after I saw the endodonstist, Dr. Eve's failed to follow up with me. They said to wait a month for pre-auth from my insurance. I called them 6 weeks later only to be told they hadn't submitted the pre-auth. I got justifiably angry over the phone, but the person I talked to said I cursed at her. I did not. She had poor conflict resolution skills and only escalated the conversation with an angry patient. She never apologized either. Remember, this was their mistake that delayed my patient care. Meanwhile, the secretary made the false accusation against me that got me dropped as a patient. Dr. Eves refused to talk with me and I never got to tell my side of the story. Gutless! Dropping a patient when they need your care is the most heartless thing a doctor can do. Avoid this dentist!!! There are many other great, caring dentists in the area without all the drama or lack of compassionate care.

Thanks to Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery I'm up and at-it today with very little soreness…read moreafter extraction of 3 Wisdom Teeth! The Ashland location on Lexington Ave. was absolutely FAB! If you know me~ well, you KNOW! I'm terrified of dentists so I gotta submit a PRAISE report! The dentist and staff performed the procedure withOUT General Anesthesia! They're THAT good! I laid peacefully and underwent the procedure that went SO quickly and comfortably, with a little "Happy Juice" (nitrous) and local numbing. I was in and out in less than two hours and on my way, walked-out on my own freewill, no wheelchair, proving it's possible without all the risks of putting a person to sleep. I can't scream loud enough over #AKY about loveliness of the dental staff and surgeon! Devin (our Flatwoods Girl) stayed beside me the whole journey, keeping me calm and reassuring me! She's an Angel! They made me feel relaxed with the big operation awaiting me, offered jokes, compliments on my wild Valentines Day accessorization (yup, you know me, even during dental), and delivered unbelievably-kind care. is never enough to describe my treatment at the convenient downtown location with lotsa parking!
