It's ridiculous for someone to be in so much pain and not actually get an appt until Feb 26th. My husband has been in so much pain for 4 days. I call they said Feb 26th but they take 1 walk in per day. So my husband was there at 7:30 am. They took a bunch of xrays then sent him to the financial person all the time my husband is in pain. It's going to cost $1000 to pull 4 teeth $4000 for some rinse for gum disease..but guess what his appt isn't until Feb 26th. They always talk about making a plan for you. Hey here's a news flash how about this ask him what he wants you to do. He would have loved to had those teeth pulled right then, but instead he left there still in very bad pain. So really what good are they. A person goes to the dentist bc he's in pain. Now for a little back ground. My husband works for HWI for 28 yrs. He works 10 hr a day, 6 to 7 days a week..he doesn't do drugs. For the last 4 days he can barely eat or drink anything he is still going into work. All Aspen Dental did was take a bunch of x rays and then had him see their financial department and talked to him and sent him on his way. Aspen Dental does only care about money. They don't care about people. We have insurance so the money's there it's like they schedule the work that needs done while they are checking to make sure your insurance goes through. It's all about money. When my husband came home still holding his jaw and looking very pale and telling me he feels like he's going to get sick and you did nothing to help him you should no even be in practice. I am extremely angry at what you put my husband through for absolutely nothing. He's already been 4 days on an antibiotic and you gave him another script to take after he finishes his other ones while he's waiting to be seen. You are pathetic. read more

Went in to have my teeth cleaned after being moved from station to station wanted to charge me 2500. What a rip off never again

My poor Grandmother had an appointment at 3pm on Thursday, January 30th. She arrived at 230 as it was her first time there & they asked her to arrive 15 min early. She signed in and waited. And waited. And waited. She has been in excruciating pain and finally decided to have them pulled. Or so she thought. But after waiting for an hour and a half, with NO communication, she left. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Maybe somewhere that actually cares for their patients. read more

Lowest of the low...went in there with an extreme dental emergency well within hours on a Friday afternoon. All over the internet and there signs they encourage emergency walk ins. I was turned away smug smile saying we can possibly fit you in. It took hours to find another emergency dentisit in the area. I was told by the dentist my tooth could have been saved if treated while I was there. They should be sued for the false emergency advertisements. read more

Do not go here. We went to Aspen because of the free first exam and because they were the only ones in the area that took the Carington dental discount program we'd signed up for. I was unhappy from the beginning, but the husband needed quite a bit of work done, so we stuck with them because it was the cheapest option. The good- They got us in right away for our first appointment. For some reason even though we decided to go with the cheaper silver fillings for my husband, they went ahead and gave him the more expensive porcelain ones. The bad- You have to watch your bill like a hawk. They have so many tiny add ons, that aren't explained, that your bill can easily skyrocket. While I was able to get everything adjusted, I had these billing problems- We were charged for a $100+ electric toothbrush that we didn't receive. I asked for no fluoride, and they took it off the bill, but then when I asked what other things on the bill were that I didn't recognize- they were 2 other types of fluoride treatments that I hadn't asked for or received. The problems went on. While I don't feel as if I paid more than I should have, I am not happy having to watch my bill so closely. I want to be able to trust my dentist and let them decide what I need. As far as the dentistry work itself- they're of the school that says 'patch patch patch at the first sign of any tooth wear.' On my last visit, they wanted to redo some of the fillings they did ONE YEAR before (for free, but still). This doesn't fill me with confidence. I'll be going back to my more expensive but trustworthy dentist, and avoiding Aspen like the plague. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I started going to Aspen years ago, not long after they opened and they cleaned my teeth every 6 months. Then I missed because of Covid. Maybe 8-12 months since the last time I had my teeth cleaned and when I called they were like 'you might need a bunch of work because its been so long'. HMMMM? then when I got there they poked around in my teeth and said I would have to talk to someone about it. I was sent to and office which ended up being a sales person. Who said, I would need 3,000.00 worth of work if I didn't want all my teeth to fall out! UH what, I said I don't think so, I'll go somewhere else and I did. And they were fantastic, they said your teeth are fine, cleaned them and said we will see you in 6 months. read more

Thanks to Dr Meyer I'm traumatized about ever having dental work done again. He pulled 3 teeth in the back and I was awake and aware. 2 teeth went fine until he got to the 3rd. I kept telling him I felt everything. He said there was no way I felt it. I ended up crying loudly and kicking my feet unintentionally. He pointed his finger in my face saying I needed to STOP IT and that other patients would be afraid and hear me. At the time I kept apologizing. I'd never had a procedure like this done before. I didn't know what to expect. It was AWFUL. And AFTER he finally pulled the tooth he said "Oh well maybe you did feel that last one. It looks like you had an access in the past and your tooth grew this protective layer around the root and numbing meds can't penetrate that." I was livid. It was worse than child birth. read more

With what they charge for dental work you would think they could update their equipment. I even took photos while in the chair, it felt like I was stepping back in time. The chair was ripped, dirt all over the floor and it just did not feel clean. It took a long time to get waited on and some of the staff was rude. I thought Aspen Dental was supposed to offer good prices for the average person. read more

Front desk staff member asked me to pay a "balance" for a root canal that was never scheduled. Infuriating! This was loudly discussed by a staff member at the front desk, suggesting to everyone in the waiting after that I owed more than $1500, when in fact I had paid in full for all services. Poor customer service! If they truly thought I "owed" them such a large balance, I should've been pulled aside privately. read more

I have had over a year of treatments that apparently I never needed (once I left and found a good dentist) They use the scare tactic to get your money. My teeth will never be the same Front office need to be more professional. Talking so loud that everyone in the office and lobby can hear everyone's financial/insurance issues is NOT OK! I would give them a zero if I could. Run don't walk away from this place. I had a tooth brake off and was told by my dentist that I would need the tooth pulled and an implant put in. I went for a second opinion because the price was going to by nearly 5 thousand dollars to have it done and with that much money I wanted to be sure there was no other options the second dentist agreed with the mine so I called Aspen dental who assured me they could do it cheaper. Well I went to the appointment. They gave me the most painful exam I have ever had and told me I had Periodontal disease and That would have to be treated before they could do the implant. They also said I needed to have all my fillings removed and new crowns put on. When I pointed out that I had never been diagnosed with periodontal disease and I had been going to a dentist all my life they pretty much said my other dentist didn't do a good enough exam. Then the bomb dropped they said it would cost me over 7 thousand dollars to have the periodontal disease treated and the implant put in and that I would have to have 7 crowns which all together with the treatment and implants it would cost me over 15 thousand dollars. Well I told them no way was I getting anything done there. I went back to my dentist and the oral surgeon he recommended when I told them what I was told he compared the X-rays he took with the ones Aspen took and nothing that showed up on Aspens that they said showed gum disease was showing up on the ones they took this was one week later. When he pulled the broken tooth he had a hard time getting it out because he said my bones were so hard and that there was no way I had bone loss do to Periodontal disease. He also said there was nothing wrong with my fillings. Aspen will say you need a lot of work done just to get a lot of money from you or your ins. company. They fake X-rays to show things that are not there. I am so glad I walked out of there they are fraudsters and need to be shut down. Please As I said RUN RUN RUN RUN AWAY from this place as fast as you can. I still have the X-rays and can prove everything I am writing here. read more
