If you are not sold the first few seconds speaking with Kristie (the equally amazing part of this duo) walk away because this all on you. I am not a fan of doctors and spent decades steering clear (home remedies, duct tape on bad wounds etc.) of them until I had my first visit (she came highly recommended from a podiatrist) due to extreme gout pain I had been dealing with for years, A dr. who actually talks to you getting to know you and your issue(s) and explaining the different ways you can attack to cure/treat. This is how it should be done. EVERY dr. in this country should be booking a visit as a patient with Dr. G and learning this is what patients deserve. I would go to the ends of the earth for these two women due to how much better I feel today both physically and how that has made me feel mentally. It is very rare to come across people you meet that you have true great respect for how they go about their jobs, and I feel lucky to have become a patient of Dr. Gannon's.

If I ever get to write a review this fun again, I don't k now when it will be…read more Trent Rosenbloom is a doctor, but he has a second and more important job - Trent is Nashville's Mohel. Now for anyone who does not know what a mohel is, he is the guy who is responsible for helping Jewish families fulfill the commandment to bring their children into the Covenant of Abraham - in other words, he is - The Circumciser! I've had the opportunity to use Trent twice in this regard. My oldest is five and my third is now 2 1/2. The first time was exceedingly difficult. I had been to circumcision ceremonies before. I was fairly knowledgeable about what goes on and I even knew it was the responsibility of the father to perform the act, unless he cannot, in which case he designates someone else - the moyel. I had never met Trent before, but into my house strode this dred locked guy who told me he was not only a doctor, but also the mohel. We discussed the ceremony in some detail as well as the preparation for my son. We readied the tools he needed and he showed me the clamp he would use and the scalpel I would use, as I opted to do the cut myself. The Rabbi said some nice words - I was in a bit of a fog - and Trent prepared my son and handed me the scalpel. The last thing I remember was him commenting on his size (from his mothers side of the family) and then I stated. Since he was indeed large, I didnt get it all at first and had to go back. Time stopped except for the whispers of my family standing close and saying - Why is it taking so long. Its not supposed to take this long is it? Is something wrong? Fortunately, I finished and did just fine and it came out great. Of course Trent was a big help as he made fun of me for it for the next 5 years (and counting) We had no drama with my younger child and in fact, it went so smoothly that we convinced another friend and elite Yelper to perform the ceremony himself when it was his kids time. If you're Jewish and have a boy, there is no finer mohel in Nashville than Trent Rosenbloom.

Given that a friend and fellow recipient of the services of Dr. S. Trent took the opportunity to…read morereview his services, I couldn't help but put in my two cents. Being thankfully too young to remember my own circumcision, I was a little apprehensive about my son's. We first sat down with Trent at the Fido, where he was taking his daughters out for breakfast. He sat us down and handed us some literature, whilst managing his younguns, and answered all of our questions. He clearly had a much more intimate, spiritual approach to the ceremony than some of the other mohels we contacted. It seemed less of a business transaction and more of something that was supposed to be an inclusive experience. One thing he mentioned as well was how he felt very strongly that the father should actually do the deed, that he would set everything up, put the ball on the tee (no pun intended). Didn't seem like something I really wanted to do, I felt very comfortable leaving it to the professionals. As time went on, he was there to answer any questions, and gave us some great advice on how to get the little guy ready, using a cream that would cause him minimal discomfort, again, a very progressive approach to the experience. He also gave us guidance on how we needed to plan the event and meal afterwards. When the big day finally came, the rabbi, Trent, and a couple of pals administered scotch and told me I should be the one to do the deed. When it came time for that part of the ritual, with 40 people in my downstairs, I said that I would fulfill the act rather than delegate it to the mohel, Trent. The look on my wife's face was priceless, good thing I got it on video. Now my son pees to the left, but I was really glad I got to be a part of the ceremony (I kid, I kid). Looking back at that day now, almost two years later, I can't imagine having it gone any better. Truly thankful for Dr. Trent's services to the community and the powerful experience he helped to facilitate.

As such, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nordquist for a general check-up/new patient entry, doing so approximately 1 month in advance. After some waiting time, I was taken into one of the examination rooms, where a pleasant nurse obtained my blood pressure and heart rate. As she was exiting, I was told Dr. Nordquist would be in shortly. I waited for some time, but ultimately left due to another scheduled appointment that could not be re-scheduled. As I exited, I approached the receptionist and explained the doctor never arrived and I would be leaving to meet a prior appointment. In the end, I left the location without ever meeting with Dr. Nordquist. At the point I left, I had been at the location for at least 1 hour and 45 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes after my appointment time). For comparison sake, it should be noted that when I arrived at my other appointment, I was met with nearly no delay at all between checking in and work beginning (they even took me back early). I do not plan on returning to this location and will look elsewhere for a primary care physician - hopefully finding one that values the time of others.

As I entered my mid-30s, I realized I should probably be a bit more proactive about my health. So I scheduled a physical with a doctor (not Dr Williams, but in the same building) who laughed when I mentioned that half of my foot had been numb for several weeks. He chuckled and said, "Well, that could be anything. Nerve issues are hard to pin down." The end. My brain was saying, "So let's at least rule out those that could end in amputation!" But instead I just sat there, embarrassed, and left with zero answers. The following year I found Dr Williams. Her physical was very thorough and she actually took time to listen and ask questions. I have NEVER experienced a doctor who seemed to really care about me as a person vs as Patient #5362. Honestly. I eventually sent my husband to her as well and he came home raving about her thoroughness. We knew if she was running late, it was because she had a patient she needed more time with. And since it could've been us, we felt she was worth the wait! A couple years ago Dr Williams transitioned to an new, concierge-type office model. She did this so she could continue to focus on her patients as long as needed vs herding them through the way traditional healthcare is modeled. We didn't join her new practice but only because we moved out of state. 2+ years later, we're still searching for a new "Dr Williams". Sadly, she is one-of-a-kind.
