I've heard many complaints from my student, especially when it comes to his 6th grade science teacher. This school's dress is a mess, they don't allow logos but I've seen many kids pants hanging low. They focus more on the logos than how they are wearing their clothes. This school has became ghetto either way, don't recommend it.

Kohl open school in Stockton, California…read more This school has been apart of my life for the last twelve years. My eldest daughter started to come to Kohl when she was in Kindergarten. She was here all the way till eighth grade. My Son started started the same grade kindergarten till the eighth grade. My baby girl is still here at Kohl and started just like her siblings at the Kindergarten level. We have so many beautiful memories here at this school. When they all were here . I would love to come and spend time with them during the after school program and have fun with them. My children never wanted to come home. All they wanted to do is play with their classmates. I can go on and make this review long. But I'll keep it simple. Here at Kohl, we always felt like being apart of one giant family. I was pretty close to all the teachers my children had and all of them are wonderful. I have to say that Bud West our Principle is one of the best If not the best Principles in SUSD. The community, faculty and students are among the brightest in Stockton. If you track down some of the alumni you will find they are doing very well and credit it to the open education the school provides. Kohl will always have a special place in my heart.

The sisters (all three) and staff are pretty awesome and really go out of their way to show you that they care. Our daughter is really advanced for her age and they made sure that they constantly challenged her to keep her engaged. In the 1st grade she was reading at a 5th grade level and LoMo played a big part in that. Although we had a rough patch with our son they worked with us to find a solution. We collaborated on what works and what doesn't work to correct his behavior which is rare from facilities like this. Most of them time at other facilities it plays out like this: your kid is a problem, they did X, you need to punish them to correct it, if it continues we will kick you out. Finding a solution wasn't quick or easy but together we corrected the issue while giving each other constructive feedback along the way. That is honestly why they get 5 stars. I am no pushover and can be hard to work with because I hold people accountable while being blunt. We did use another daycare in Lodi before my son was eligible to attend LoMo and the difference was obvious. LoMo is a school, other places in Lodi for this age group are daycare. They also go out of their way to put on special events for holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving whole holding lunches and breakfasts with parents. Overall they treat you like family and really care for your kids as if they were their own. What more could you ask for? Thank you for all that you've done! We will miss you!

My son graduated from Lodi Montessori and I am so happy with the time he spent there. He learned a…read morelot and he was always well taken care of. He enjoyed going to school everyday and he would be sad on weekends and breaks when school was closed. That was the most important thing to me- that he loved school. His teacher was Miss Alicia and she went above and beyond for him and all the students. She teaches everything they need to know to be prepared for the next grade and makes learning fun with the holidays, art, science experiments and more. I always got messages and pictures of my son which I liked a lot. The entire staff is wonderful too and works hard to run an amazing school that is very clean and safe. I highly recommend Lodi Montessori if you want the best for your child.

Funny how my review got deleted…read more This school is full of lazy, rac1st, lame, bully allowing teachers who don't care for their students. They don't care cus they don't get paid enough. This school is garbage. My kids got physically and verbally abused and my mistake was to never report it to the police because I don't like the "slave patrol" but I should to keep records of everything they have failed me in. I had the worst experience with them and I hate how the district won't work with me to transfer them somewhere else

I am proud to say that I went to Elkhorn Elementary when I was a kid…read more I am not gonna say how long ago that was...but it was many moons ago. Out on Davis Road in North Stockton when I went to school there it was during a time there was hardly a home around the school...just the golf course across the street. Now new homes completely surround the school on both sides. I had teachers like Mrs. Wolmack (twice) and Mrs. Littleton. It was an amazing place to spend 6 years of my life. I got in trouble from time to time...I did know what the inside of the front office looked like. For the most part I was a good kid and I got a great education. Thanks Lodi Unified School District! Elkhorn still looks pretty much the same today as it did back then...it just looks a whole lot smaller now...I guess maybe I am just a whole lot bigger than I was back then. :0)
