Location 5 stars: On Erringer Road in Simi Valley, California, North of Cochran Street, in a larger shopping plaza. Plenty of free parking right in front of the clinic or at the most a short walking distance. Venue 4.5 stars: Large well kept facility with X-ray on site and their own rehab center across the parking lot. You can check online before going or while in the office (just scan the QR code displayed there) and this makes everything faster. Large comfortable wait area. Wait time was less than 10 minutes past my appointment time. Service 5 stars: Friendly and attentive front desk staff, medical staff and physicians.

They had three associates working to get patients checked in or out as the case might be. They were moving through the queue as fast as they could. When my turn came to check in the representative was very friendly and thorough, despite the chaos of so many people in the waiting area. I asked if it is always that busy there. She said that Thursdays are often their busiest days. Dear Hubby explained (he's been a patient there, too) that their doctors rotate to several offices - likely Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, in addition to Simi. Despite the busy load of patients in the waiting room I was called in fairly quickly. Dr. "Siva" came to talk with me and go over MRI results shortly thereafter. There were some surprises in what the MRI revealed which I wasn't expecting. I'll be starting physical therapy soon and we'll see how it all goes. I liked the straight-forward communication style of Dr. Siva. He offered information, compassion, and a plan to move forward.

I had to request the protective apron. - PT office overbooks; PT is unable to watch, adjust, and make sure you're learning enough about how to properly do the movements because they're focused on more than one client at a time. - Lots of socialization between the PTs; it's great to have fun at work but not when there's a patient in front of you - Doc wouldn't give any diagnosis without scans. $300 later + exposure to radiation, with no further in understanding or explanation of the issue. My acupuncturist was able to tell me what's going on after a short evaluation. - Doc made me return and pay a second copay for a full evaluation because he refused to assess more than two body parts per visit, even though everything is connected and related - Front desk (quite grumpy) refused to schedule my third appointment stating there was an insurance issue; we were told it's a training matter when we escalated Too many issues! If you'd like to know where I went for PT and got much better results, you are welcome to DM me OR just check out my reviews for the other PT office (there's only one other).

His skill, experience, and attention to detail are exceptional, and he has a cheerful, reassuring bedside manner. What impressed me most was how attentive he was after surgery, personally following up with me multiple times and genuinely caring about my recovery. The office staff and surgical team were excellent, and my surgery at Tarzana Hospital was a great experience. I am extremely grateful for the results of both surgeries and would highly recommend Dr. Rana to anyone considering knee replacement.

This has been one of the best decisions of my life. I'm a 43-year-old active male with a family history of hip issues. When I first met Dr. Rana and explained the two years of intense pain I had been dealing with, even during simple tasks like tying my shoes, he laid out my options with direct honesty, which I truly appreciated. Within 12 hours of agreeing to move forward with surgery, his team reached out, including a wonderful coordinator named Freddie. She walked me through every step of the process in detail and helped ease any nerves I had going into the procedure. Surgery day was a great experience. The entire staff was professional, supportive, and made everything feel seamless. Now, just six weeks later, I am pain-free and focused on rebuilding my strength so I can get back to doing the things I love. I cannot thank Dr. Rana enough for the impact he has had on my life. Truly grateful. Thank you.

I was evaluated for ongoing, debilitating knee pain that has significantly affected my mobility and…read moredaily functioning. Despite MRI findings that documented clinically significant relevant abnormalities, Dr. Hartman repeatedly described the imaging as "normal" and dismissed my concerns without providing a medically supported rationale. The consultation did not include adequate discussion or review of the imaging or imaging results, potential diagnoses, or an evidence-based treatment plan. When I expressed that I was experiencing 10/10 pain and asked how I was expected to function, Dr. Hartman responded, "Well, I come to work with 10/10. I guess it depends on the person." This comment felt extremely condescending and clinically inappropriate. At no point did he assess how the pain was affecting my ability to walk, work, sleep, or perform basic daily tasks. Instead, he referenced anecdotal stories about his brother and a prior patient, which were neither relevant nor helpful. Dr. Hartman attributed the pain solely to fibromyalgia despite the following issues: * The pain is highly localized to my knees rather than widespread. * It does not resemble my typical fibromyalgia pain. * The MRI report included findings that reasonably correlate with mechanical or structural knee pain. His refusal to acknowledge or meaningfully address these findings resulted in inadequate assessment and left me without a clear diagnosis or appropriate follow-up plan. The care provided did not meet clinical expectations and left me feeling dismissed, invalidated, and unsupported. I have filed a formal grievance with Blue Shield and Ventura Orthopedics.
