Dr. Bryan Thompson is upfront and honest about chiropractic treatment plans and sets clear…read moreexpectations. We openly discussed a reasonable plan and timeline. After two adjustments a week for a few weeks he helped me regain my mobility and back strength. Not only did he provide focused adjustments but also gave me a few stretches I should do consistently at home. He's genuinely concerned with patient well being. His certification and achievements are framed on the wall. And he follows chiropractic research and the expanding knowledge within. If you're curious, Dr. Bryan is willing to share his knowledge. I appreciate that he listens to my challenge with back pain and focuses on me as a human being. I can tell he cares about healing people and is plugged into the healthcare field as a whole. The office is clean and presents with a warm, comfortable feel. I like the Atlas statue near his desk as it embodies strength and endurance.

He was very kind to me. BUT, during the adjustment he pressed so hard that the cracks I felt echoed through my whole body. His reply "wow you really needed that" I had never been to a chiropractor before so he was my first experience. Right after, he told me to stand up and asked how I felt. I remember wearing a light pullover and instantly started sweating when I stood up and i started to get extremely hot which i thought was peculiar! I new something was off but didn't know what to expect from the visit or what to do. He rescheduled me and I went home. I started feeling EXTREME pain in my UPPER back. Previously I had lower back pain, that when he went to adjust I felt nothing happen. The pain was still there from before and after the appointment along with new upper back pain!! I couldn't sleep, I couldn't breathe deep. That night I texted him asking what to do and telling him my symptoms which he replied to ice my back, and offered for me to schedule with his massage therapist. After an excruciating night followed by ibuprofen to take the pain away. I cancelled my appointment the next day and DID NOT want to see him again or anyone in his practice. I was so upset because I was training for a half marathon and for my aerial silk performance at the time and I couldn't even breathe! I found a new chiropractor (who has practiced for over 30 years) right away and two days later went to him in salt lake. He assessed my back and said that TWO ribs had been dislodged!! TWO!!!!! He lightly pushed them back in and was so gentle. After that I was able to take a deep breath in for the first time in three days. This new doctor did say I am not sure if Dr. Thompson pushed these ribs out or if they were about to come out and he was the one who shifted them. Dr. Thompsons adjustment compared to this experienced doctor of 30 years was very aggressive! Know that I have had an Extremely active lifestyle for over 20 years and never had this problem with my ribs until seeing Dr. Thompson. I have debated to write this review because Dr. Thompson did refund my money and was kind at the appointment. But my ribs have been shifting in and out for a year!!! I have received numerous massages over this past year to deal with the pain and each time they say my back is swollen and each time they touch where the swelling is it is the exact spot that my ribs have shifted out. My training/working out has changed dramatically due to my ribs being more prone to shifting out of place. It is now a constant battle of recovery. I have stopped running because of my ribs giving me difficulty and the constant impact causes them to shift out more frequently. I have lost faith in the chiropractic community and will NEVER go again to anyone!!! I came in with one problem and left with a year of new problems. I would give this place 0 stars but I hope people see this review. Just because someone has 5 stars doesn't mean they are someone you should trust. I am a person who does a lot of research before trying something new and this round I had some VERY VERY bad luck.

I took my girls here after a rollover car accident and Dr. Danielson did a full assessment of like…read more200 muscles and was able to tell us exactly what neck/shoulder muscles were working and which ones weren't. And then he made a plan to work on the muscles, and was able to tell us that plan right up front. It was very organized and factual. I don't really understand how muscle activation really works, but you can't deny when you see your child's muscles not working and then after they do the adjustments, they suddenly work. I guess it's a combination of traditional chiropractic and acupressure. Never had any chiropractic care like this before, but I'm telling you, it works. On the way out of one of our appointments, my daughter said to me, "They should rename this place "MiracleWorkers" because that's what they did!" She actually jumped up and down and said, "I'm cured!" Not making this up, these folks are kinda miracle workers. I was impressed also that after only a couple of visits, Dr. Danielson said he thought that one of my daughters would not need more treatment. I was expecting it to be like at other chiropractors where once you walk in the door you expect to be told that you're gonna need to be patients for life. The fact that they were perfectly willing to say, "I think you should be good now, but let us know if you need more" was pretty epic. That says a lot about their belief in what they do, and how well it works. They don't feel the need to try to keep you around. And the good news was that Dr. Danielson was right, she WAS all cured from the whiplash. My other daughter had more severe whiplash, and so she's been going to them for longer, and what I've appreciated a lot is that Dr. Danielson has been really creative with using different techniques, and also sensitive to the fact that my daughter won't do the exercises at home (sigh!) and also that she doesn't want her back "cracked." So he's used other tools and techniques and has really helped her. Plus, both my girls are on the autism spectrum, were very fearful, and he was patient and kind and just worked with them, and made them feel like they were safe and that they had some say over what was being done. Just great bedside manner. Anyways, long review, but these folks deserve it. I was so impressed that I booked my own appointment to have Dr. Danielson look at my knee, which I had surgery on last year, and has never been the same. In the first session, he was able to show me exactly what muscles weren't working in my knee area, and he got several of them working again. Not kidding you, I went home and made my kids come and watch while I ran up and down the stairs saying, "My knees work again! I'm not old anymore!" I can tell I need physical therapy or something to strengthen the muscles, and I'm not saying that they're 100%, but what I know is I could not walk up stairs without difficulty, and now I can walk up them with ZERO problems, and I could not walk down stairs without holding on to something, and now I can go down on my own (they still feel wobbly, but the difference is night and day). The end result is I feel like I have my life back. Highly recommend Dr. Danielson!
