We have shopped hard and thoroughly each time with total happiness with our purchases. We were saddened when they closed the first location and had to wait for the second location to open. Now they are in their third location and they had it custom build to their specifications. First things first, they sell items at a discount because they purchase truck loads and truck loads if big box Retail and Amazon returns. This place has new and used items and usually they are at a better than new prices from the originating store. I personally shop for home DIY things, tools, parts to fix things, cooking items and bigger items like whole home dehumidifiers and the rare hi SEER split heat pumps. Consider this place a scratch and dent shop. Someone probably had it for a moment and returned it or it was defective. So inspect, check and buy with your eyes wide open! Check to make sure everything is all there and if you see an issue, let them know! Ask about their return policy because as I recall, its no money back but you can exchange for the amount spent. Let me give you a small example of our savings. Nee in the bag name brand premium mattress that online was $800 and we got it for $300. My recent late 2020 purchase was a whole house dehumidifier (190 pints a day) that online retails for $900 and I got it for around $500. But, its cosmetic cover was a little damaged and it has no affect on the performance of the item. Overall extremely happy! They have furniture, pet items, kitchen, tools, lighting, gardening, fans, ac's, heaters and the list goes on. I would go more often but they are closed on Sunday which is my wife's day off and thats are shopping in NMB day. I believe they also buy and fix used appliances so go there with a "it's used or returned" for a reason attitude and hopefully you will buy sone of the many unopened, unused items there or even used ones that will save you money and bring you some shopper satisfaction! I buy a while ribeye, strip loin, pork loin, and double pack pork shoulder on every quarter rotation. Cut to steaks and vac sealed. We always have some of each in the freezer now well under half of grocery. I grind a beef chuck roll and a pork shoulder every month for ground beef, ground pork, sausage etc alternating months. I can produce monthly. I make cold cuts monthly. When it's not season for fresh in the inlet, I buy my seafood here. I buy bags of chicken leg quarters here for soups, stews, stocks, and grill four times a year. I know what is in my food and it tastes better. That I save 1/2 the monthly grocery budget is secondary. Better than warehouse clubs by a mile. Get the app and wear a coat if you're going into the mat and produce locker.

We took a basket from the front and that filled quickly! We even left some items with the front counter while we looked at all the items. My mom brought a red and blue crab wine holder, a bird, a seahorse, and more! I also found 2 cat decor that counts as christmas items for my aunt! never too early for christmas shopping! My items were $15.00, and paid with cash. Cashier was pleasant and also wrapped the items as well. BJs does carry different brands which is a nice change of pace and of course they have their own label of products. So, why am I not thrilled about BJs? Customer service is poor. Usually only one person at the front desk and there is always others waiting in line. Want to ask a question of someone in frozen foods? Staples? Dairy? Something is out of stock and you want a rain check? Good luck. The only people you can usually find is someone in the meat department, bakery and of course deli. What a real checkout person, on my last visit this week, nope. Only lines open are self checkout and you can also express checkout using their app and your phone. And those robots constantly beeping and driving around the aisles for inventory. Do you see those at the competition? They are annoying and get in the way. Why don't you take inventory with them at night? Overall not impressed with their model and I really haven't seen a huge price difference between them and the others on major items. If it wasn't for the Deli I would have given them 2 stars, especially because of their lack of customer service.

Although years ago we lived in the bronx and used to go to the costco there! We also though live in conway, and use a competing company. Anyways, In case you're wondering- what is costco- it is a wholesale club, which means one has to pay to join that sells items in bulk, and in this case is also a retailer which sells electronics like tvs, and appliances like refrigerators. We started our day with turkey sandwiches, some pizza, and some soda. Pizza was very good and enjoyable. They also have a variety of other snacks, like cookies, popcorn, and more! Lots more choices at the food stand! After we ate our pizza, we looked around the store and was surprised to see options like mattresses, bedding, bath towels, carpets, grills, some appliances like refridgerators, washing machines, and more. Not only that but they had options of some different colors of bedding items, bath towels. They also have a produce section with different areas in like a refrigerated room, as well as the usual store section which sold cereal, garbage bags, ETC. Store was clean and organized, although some of the items are on the expensive side. We brought raspberries, eggrolls, and some veal. Cashier was pleasant. Then, we went back to the food stand and got some Ice Cream. They have lots of options for the ice cream too! The Costco in Myrtle Beach I find quite pleasant. The staff is more than eager to assist you with anything you need and the management addresses all concerns honestly with integrity until you're satisfied. Furthermore, I am extremely proud of Costco for filing a lawsuit against the orange melon head that sits in a chair in the Oval Office. Honestly, what a terrible waste of air. Secondly, could you imagine anyone sleeping with him without being properly medicated with some antipsychotic medication nevertheless I digress. Costco has always offered customers extreme savings while giving them exactly what they want and never overcharge them. In many cases eating the tariff excess charges. This is why I will be a life long customer of Costco. This year all my Christmas gifts have come from Costco minus one or two. I feel as if I've actually saved money and virtually all the gifts were cheaper than I could have found on Amazon. The only complaint I could have about Costco in Myrtle Beach is I wish there was a location closer to where I live . However, we can have everything we want nevertheless thank you for being where you are.
