I love this cute little Italian store tucked into a warehouse in Calabash. They are only open Wed - Fri so plan accordingly. I wanted their lemon olive oil spray as it's delicious on veggies and chicken. They have so many options for olive and truffle oil that surely you'll find something. I've been to Italy and it was reminiscent seeing many options here. I also picked up a creamy garlic mustard sauce. Lately I've liked mustard on many things so I know this will be good. They have a good selection of prepared foods for a meal or family. Everything they sell there looks great. If you want some nice Italian options check it out. They were doing a tasting of cheese too. This is a true diamond in the rough. Warehouse location only open two days, so plan accordingly. If you want the best Italian food to cook at home, you're going to love this place. This is not a discount market, so plan to pay for food that is so worth the price, but after your first visit you will be hooked. They supply to area restaurants who then charge you to cook what you can do at home and make incredible meals. Hand-packed ricotta cheese that, once you try, will ruin you for cheap imitations find in most other stores. Freshly frozen breads that take like you baked yourself. Handmade pastas, frozen meals, sauces, the list goes on. I'm addicted to the frozen pizza dough, for under $3, and then you can have a pizza at home that beats almost every place around here if you top it with their meatballs and mozzarella. You really must experience to understand. And they are so friendly and welcoming. Ask questions, please! They can't help but make you feel like you're a regular, which of you will become. Da Vinci Italian Market is amazing!! The Italian grocery store offers anything Italian you can think of & so much more! They carry many types of pasta, including fresh frozen ravioli, tortellini, pierogis & much more. There are many Italian cheeses, Italian tomato products, hot, sweet and special sausage, & restaurant quality meats. The grilled olives are addictive! Often, they will have a sample of some dish at check out & then you go back to buy those ingredients! The ladies who work there are so kind & helpful! I highly recommend! read more

If you are a transplant like me from the northeast then you might appreciate finding items that you cannot get at a grocery store or Walmart down here like pasta straight from Italy, nougat candy and real anisette biscotti.
