I got up for work at 03:00 am on Tuesday July 14 only to find out I had know hot water to shower. The oil pump was tripped out. I pushed the reset and it tripped again. So i turn the power off to the oil burner and left a not for my wife that we had no hot water when she would get up two hours later for work. I left work early to meet the technician around 17:39. He was in the basement for 5 -10 minutes. He came up and said we need to replace the heater for around $10,000. He stated it is twenty years old and would probably spend around $4000 - $6000 to rebuild the pump and other miscellaneous work. He said they could have some here Wednesday July 15 @ 09:00 to give me a estimate for a replacement and work out financing. After he left I decide to get a second opinion and call Aram Ecker who had replaced my water supply line to the house over a year ago. Aram showed up around 08:55 to take a look at the oil burner. He disassembled the pump and other stuff and cleaned it all. He got it fired back up and running. He was here only 1 hour and 30 minutes. This cost me $225.00. I learned a good lesson today.

Well, I'm sorry to say that I was wrong. The contractor Generac gave us took $350 dollars, waited two weeks for the service call because they wanted the money up front. Then when they finally showed up they made up the flimsiest reasons why they wouldn't repair the generator under warranty. In fact, they won't work on it at all unless I pay them more. Our Generac was faulty from the factory, and this company seems to be ok with that. I ended up fixing it myself.

That fix lasted five minutes while they drove off. I called to have Tech back but they refused and instead talked about additional charges and talked about coming back days later ? By end of day my home electric issue was fixed (By a different reputable company) for half the amount of money Martella charged. ​I called their dispatchures 2 x this week to get a refund instead got the run around. I did not want to write a bad review but this incompetent Martella outfit left me know choice to report along with filing complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Martella is the worst.

I hired Fortech to install recessed lighting in my home. I would say I had an overall good /…read moreoverall positive experience with some small opportunities for improvement. Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

The quote didn't mention patching but patching was included during the installation which most of the other electricians did not include. Would definitely recommend Fortech if you need quick electrical work done at a very reasonable price. Had to mount the EV Charger myself but I didn't mind as I didn't my new electric car yet.
