Initially my girlfriend purchased $2500 worth of cold sculpting and Jeuveau injectables. My girlfriend purchased the injectables for me and her to do together, but when we went to the clinic we found that she could not transfer the credits to me, which seemed odd because they were already purchased. I elected to buy them myself to support my girlfriend and do something new together. $370 later with a $75 coupon I found myself pretty excited since they were projected to last 4 months or so. Long story short. I went back for another procedure because the initial application did not work and spots were missed. I looked like I had bad Botox . I came back a week or so later to get it fixed and was charged $75 more dollars, which I would have paid $1000 at this point to get myself from looking the way I did. I then took a third trip back because my wrinkles came back in 3 weeks. After talking with Dr Hensley he said 3 others had stated the same problem that were treated the same day (my girlfriend being one of them) and it could be a bad batch. Dr. Hensley and I talked while I explained that I would be a life long customer if we could find a product that worked. He stated he would give me a credit, and to check in a week or so. I called today and no credit was applied. Notes were put in my file regarding my issue but no credit. He straight up lied to my face, and his administrative clerk/ social media rep was the one who had to deal with it. I felt bad for her. My girlfriend on the other hand was told she never received a promotional deal and each treatment would be at full cost. This was done after all of her treatments were complete. Unfortunately we have the flyer and my girlfriend purchased the items with 2 other of her girlfriends, so we will see how this turns out. In the end I'm very disappointed in how me and my girlfriend were treated by the owner and some staff members. It felt like we became the enemy when we just wanted to buy and try some of the services available. I feel like they are struggling to pay the bills or something and they need every dollar they can get.

We also added in some filler in my chin for facial balancing. We did not end up using all of the filler so we saved it and I scheduled a two week follow up appointment. At that next appointment we did add a tiny bit of filler but I didn't need much. The filler has made such a natural but noticeable improvement to my face shape. I went to Koniver Aesthetics for AviClear laser treatments. I had been suffering from acne for over a decade and I was told this would "cure it", or I would get my money back. I was also informed that it would take up to a year to see the results. After a year my skin was still terrible. At this time I was told by Koniver Aesthetics that it could NOW possibly take a year and a half. Obviously this was upsetting, but I waited. Around 18 months after the procedures my skin seemed to be worse than ever. I was livid. I reached out to their team and I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I wanted to get on social media and write bad reviews for the establishment everywhere I could possibly find. Though, I was so depressed I didn't even have the motivation to do that. So I bought my Groupon for the small area option, opting to get my underarms done since it's a less conspicuous area in case something goes awry. Then I called and made an appointment that was almost 2 months away. Ugh, the cost of being on Groupon I guess. I had already done my research and I knew that since I'm naturally dark-haired and fair-skinned, it makes me the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. Pasty whiteness for the win (sidenote: I'm really not THAT white)! The first appointment I was a little nervous because I've heard everything from it hurts like holy hell to it's not painful at all. I would rate the pain of my first appointment at a 5 on a scale of 1-10, with it being about the equivalent of waxing. I was given the warning that it feels like a rubberband being flicked against the skin, which I'd say is a pretty accurate description. I won't lie, it hurt but definitely nothing unbearable. And the good news is that the whole procedure only lasts a few minutes (well, for underarms. Something like getting your legs done would probably be 20+ minutes. I would suggest NOT to start out with a big area!). I just had my second (out of three) appointments today. From the time I walked in, I was in and out in under 10 minutes and this time, I'd only rate the pain at a 2. Appointments are spaced a month apart to allow for the new hair growth cycle and after that initial appointment, I've barely had to shave. It's been glorious! The best part is that once you buy your first Groupon, they offer Groupon prices for anything else you want to get done after that. And now I already have a mental tally of everything in order that I'm planning to laser. In…read morethe examination room where I waited a brief time, I saw on the walls the photos, newspaper reports and other proof of the numerous children in other countries who previously had hemangiomas (large red, swollen places) on their faces before he operated on them FOR FREE. I asked him if he still did this, as some photos and reports were 15 years ago. With a bit of pride, he does. (Later in speaking with a lady at church who had seen him she said that he had told her that his plastic surgery practice is what he still does in order to fund his charitable work.) For me, he needed only a quick exam of the venous malformation (VM--congenital, and not cancerous or dangerous, he noted) but spent a lot of time explaining my three options including not doing anything. I will be going back to him after I make an appointment and have him do the injections. After all, that is my choice and my regular dermatologist referred me to Dr. Hochman. Thus, he came well recommended, and his knowledge and patience with this patient was very helpful and soothing.
