I contacted him on a Sunday, he said he would reach out on Monday and by noon I had heard from him and gave him all of my information. By sending photos and measurements he told me exactly what to get and where to get it, the process was simple and easy. Within 24 hours he was in our home ripping up old carpet and installing beautiful vinyl flooring. I work from home and I barely noticed he was there. He was on time, kind, professional and efficient. I feel that we paid a fair price for the service and we are more than satisfied with the results. This will be the last time I use Halpins for flooring, although the end result was good, it wasn't…read moreworth the amount of stress dealing with them. The Installation people were what made this experience horrible. I had to constantly call them to try and schedule (which took weeks, I had to call the customer service rep multiple times to get them to help only for it eventually lead to my request being handed to the owner to finally get it scheduled), once I finally got it scheduled they cancelled on me multiple times due to other projects taking longer than expected. I never got a call back to reschedule and AGAIN had to leave multiple voice messages to get them to finish what they started, finally someone from installation showed up only to as me "Whats wrong with it?", Me: "Theres no trim on it..." Installer: "oh... I think they sent me to the wrong house, yeah I dont have the stuff for this..." SO. FRIKKING. FRUSTRATING. They apologized of course, but I am done with them. Halpin's was great up until you deal with the Installation part, and they do a great job when they do finally show up, but the amount of stress just wasn't worth it when I can easily go somewhere else for just as good results.
