We have a family birthday on Dec 13 and during that family get together, it is our tradition to decorate our tree. Today, being Dec. 13, we went to buy our tree at Severts stand and were so disappointed at the few mediocre trees they had left. We wanted a tall tree and although the tree we bought was tagged as an 8 foot tree, if it weren't for the 10 inch bare top spire, it would just be a scant 7 foot tree that does have a nice shape but is not full. Usually the lot is packed with trees that are all so consistently beautiful that it never takes long to find the perfect one in the perfect size. Today was a stark contrast! Not surprising that there weren't even any other customers. I asked when another truck would be arriving and unloaded and was informed that they would not be getting anymore trees. Our first time being disappointed with Severts.

Gave us the tools and the knowledge and off we went. I took a few pics which I'll upload. As we walked around we saw a tree we liked and it was ours. Now whats even cooler about this place, you get to actually cut down your own tree. Ron helped us clean out the tree and netted it, stewart secured it to the car. Very nice customer service, i will definitely recommend my followers and friends to check it out.

Great area down the hill with slides, hula hoops, maze, train ride and water duck race! Plenty of areas to pet the different animals and for only $1.50 you can feed them! Great spot for kids but also has some easy food options and drinks for adults! This is probably my third time attending events and can't wait to make this a yearly tradition with my kids!
