I was looking for a local shop to bring an old friend some flowers and found the Ocala shop located right by my hotel. I called over and they said that they had the ability to prepare a bouquet for me, or take a look at some of the prepared in the case flowers already prepared. Note that the address located on some of the websites is incorrect as they have moved so check before you go! Not too far from the original location. I was pleasantly greeted and assisted by the lady at the counter. She offered to make a bouquet or show me what was already prepared. I was amazed at the selection and the unbelievably inexpensive pricing available. She packed up the prepared bouquet, already in a vase, into a vase that would allow me to travel safely in the car without spilling. I was out of there in less than five minutes! So disappointed! I received a pretty arrangement in a basket 3 days ago, when the delivery person handed it to me the basket was soaking wet and the material holding the flowers was also wet. I did not add more water as directed, late in the day the next day I watered it, and again day 3,again as directed! By the third evening, the mums were shriveled up, the roses dead and the gladioli brown. The card included said 24 hour guarantee! What a rip off! The grocery stores say a week! Someone paid way too much money for this. When to discard the arrangement, I noticed many of the flowers we not even pushed into the foam, just hanging onto the stems around them... lack of any care, obviously! I live 3200 miles away from my mom and see her once a year IF THAT. I wanted to send her nice flowers for her birthday. I also like to support local small businesses so found this place online...NEVER AGAIN. 1. They delivered the flowers a day before I scheduled them to (they at least admitted to this being an oversight) 2. I paid for the DELUXE and it turned out looking way smaller than even the STANDARD pic shown on their website 3. when they went to deliver the CORRECT flowers on the CORRECT day (after I called to complain) they asked for the incorrect flowers to be given back...seriously? You screwed up & ripped me off while you were at it and my dear sweet mom can't even keep your screwed up tiny flower arrangement? I order the Telefloras Fancy That in deluxe with a silver crystal mercury like base...and hey I get it with the substitution thing but they LITERALLY put flowers in a crystal base (that I can buy for 4 dollars ). I have NEVER been so rudely treated by a service. I ordered online an arrangement for my mother in laws birthday. Same day delivery, ordered very early in the morning. At noon they called to say they couldn't deliver to their address, even though it is one of the zip codes they clearly state they Do deliver to. I asked them how far away my mother in law lived, they said 30 miles - I mapquested it and it's only 14.48 miles away. They charged my credit card promptly but have not refunded it promptly. They called my father in law to verify the address, and according to him, they were rude on the phone. When I called back to check about my refund, to let them know the milage discrepancy and address the call to my in laws, they were rude again. She didn't apologize, certainly didn't make it right, and refused to acknowledge any of their mistakes. I hope I see a refund..... Miserable customer service!!! read more

I ordered flowers through an online website that finds florists in the area to fulfill the order. They chose Ocala Flower Shop. I ordered a PREMIUM. Arrangement of Pink Lilly's & Pink Roses for my mothers Birthday. When she sent me a picture with a "thank you" I noticed this was far from "premium". I face timed my mother and saw carnations in an arrangement that shouldn't have been there to fill it up, it was smaller then suppose to be, & the flowers edges looked Brown. BROWN. I called and the women who picked up was rude. Told me they added the carnations because it did look empty. Really. Why would a premium arrangement look empty? Because they skimped on the higher priced flowers to fill it with cheap ones. & then when I told her they had brown edges she said I was wrong. DONT GO HERE. They are liars & thieves. I luckily was able to get another arrangement through another florist in replacement of this one. Though they gave red roses instead of pink... You can clearly see a difference. read more

I ordered an arrangement for a Christmas party in my community hoping to preserve it until Christmas. Mentioning this to the lady that took the order, she told me how to extend the life. Two weeks later the arrangement looked as nice as when I picked it up. That, to me, was a sign of the greens freshness, as well as the carnations and other flowers included. I received a dozen beautiful red roses for our 36th Anniversary. They were delivered to my office early in the morning, so I was able to enjoy them all day. Do not order from them. I usually do not order flowers but thought it would be a nice surprise for my mom for mothers day. I ordered the enchanted cottage which if you look at the picture is white roses with purple flowers. I even ordered the deluxe so it would look more like the picture. The arrangement my mother received did not resemble what I thought I had ordered. I wanted white and purple. They gave me white and pink. I know they can substitute flowers but thought they would substitute for a similar color flower. Pink and Purple are NOT similar. I called and the lady (Debbie ?) said she worked on the arrangement and it was up to par. They offered to send my mom a bud vase (I dont know what that is but it is not what I ordered). I declined I wanted what I had ordered. I did not receive any discounts or refunds. I could have just sent my sister money to buy flowers for my mother and she would have done a better job for a lot less money. Do not order from them. read more
