She worked with the contractor, the subs, the vendors and must have shielded us from any issues because we didn't have one problem. We ended up with an "out of a magazine", modern bathroom, with a sauna (this wasn't easy to build), salt wall, steam shower with aromatherapy, fully integrated sound and AV system in both the shower and sauna. EVERYONE freaked out on the bathroom for many years and when we decided to remodel our rental property in Woodland Hills home last year we knew who to call. The tenants had destroyed the house so we remodeled from the ground up. Jane Burbank took a house that was dark, cramped (low ceilings) with the smallest kitchen you have ever seen into a masterpiece. The house is completely open, she redid one of the back rooms and created a dream kitchen. She took the air conditioning out of the ceiling and brought it up on the roof so now we have open and high ceilings. When she went through the house at first (I was sooooo depressed), Jane was like a magician. We could see her wheels turning. She was in love with the house and her vision was immediate. She would point to this and that and say things that I didn't think were possible. Later that week we ended up with a full blown, to scale 3D drawing of the entire house. OMG we were shocked. Today we are living in the most beautiful, current house with high ceilings, beautiful floors, indoor / outdoor living, open floor plan and a bigger kitchen than I had in my huge Calabasas house. Jane is an angel. She worked with both myself and my wife like a champion. She was kind, thoughtful and caring of both of our needs but firm when she believed in something. She didn't copy one thing from the Calabasas house. When I would ask about something I had seen a while back about some design I saw she would say, "eh....I'm over that". She is so current and hot with her designs and combinations that other interior designers drop their jaw when they see her work. I can't recommend Jane Burbank enough. We don't make any design decisions without her so she is stuck with us for life!!!

Not everyone has this talent. She not only "sees" the potential of a space, she has the experience to create it. And I am talking about building walls, electrical, sourcing, flooring, fixtures, colors, textures, themes, etc. She is like no one I have ever met. And FAST. I speak from experience as Jane joined me in my vision to create a little spa out of a raw (and I mean raw as in tore up from the floor up) 400 square foot space. This is a micro job for her. She designs multi million dollar homes by the beach. 5 star restaurants. Why am I her first YELP review? Because she is THAT good that she has kept busy for 20 years on word of mouth. Think about that. No digital help. But those days are over, Jane is online, see her website, and get in line to work with Jane. I promise you will be so grateful you did. She will "change your space, and change your life," like she did mine.

I knew from the moment I visited the website that THIS was the design team that would get me. But then I decided to procrastinate and mull over the idea of saving the consultation money and just doing it myself.....I used to believe I could handle interior design on my own, buying furniture piece by piece over time and never being satisfied with the results. THANK GOODNESS I decided to invest (actually quite affordable) Because, after two separate consultations with Lucie, my perspective has completely shifted. I will never attempt DIY interior design again--LOL. It truly takes a special eye to understand how dimensions, shapes, colors, and sizes all matter. Since working with Lucie, I've noticed a remarkable difference in the way my house feels and flows. Every piece of furniture she recommended has contributed to the overall alignment and harmony of my space. Lucie is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I can't recommend her enough. We consulted Lisa once we had already embarked on the project although I wish we had done it sooner. From the beginning, Lisa made us feel welcome and comfortable even though this was not a million dollar project. We appreciated her positive attitude and generous spirit. She provided key input on layout, design and materials as well as expert vendor recommendations for window treatments, closet solutions, lighting, tiles, fixtures, wall coverings, furniture and decor. Her rates were fair and she was always mindful of our budget and time constraints when recommending ideas and solutions. Lisa took time to understand our aesthetic preferences. She worked tirelessly to make sure that the contractor/ vendors delivered high quality results and on time. When we had a small issue with the closet vendor, she immediately escalated it and made sure that the work was completed to our satisfaction. Special kudos to her for the kids bedroom, bathroom and powder room- they are stunning thanks to her vision and selection of paint colors, wallpaper and / materials.
