I visited the store yesterday afternoon while looking to add a ring to my collection and had one of the worst luxury retail experiences I've ever encountered. I was "assisted" by an older sales associate with glasses and gray hair who was immediately dismissive, impatient, and openly uninterested in helping me.
When I asked about the Starburst collection, she offered minimal responses and refused to let me try on any pieces, making it very clear that my presence was an inconvenience. Her tone and body language were condescending, as if she had already decided I wasn't worth her time.
This level of service is embarrassing for a brand that positions itself as high-end. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or judged for wanting to browse or ask questions. This experience left a very poor impression of David Yurman, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. The associate I dealt with is in serious need of customer service training. read more
