He sends you home with complete instructions on what to do for after care. He calls you himself to check on how you're feeling and see if you have any questions.

I'm only ever here when I have something catastrophic going on with my teeth (stating the obvious),…read moreand this last time it was a very infected tooth where the infection was taking out bone, affecting my sinuses, etc. I was a mess, because my teeth hate me. Dr. Swiderski told me that TWO teeth needed to be pulled, because the one next to Bad Tooth was loose (fine, just a little) and the infection had basically caused too much bone loss. As is my way, I tried to air a grievance about this (and yes, I actually said "I'd like to air a grievance!"), noting that my Googling was surely as good as Dr. Swiderski's several advanced degrees and his prestigious residency at the Mayo Clinic. Perhaps not surprisingly, I was shot down, albeit nicely considering I was of course talking nonsense. All of the assistants are wonderful too, as I kept warning them that "I'm a baby about this stuff" and "it takes a lot of novocaine to work" and making the sad face of dread. Oh, and the x-ray apparatus they have is very high-tech! Regular plates hurt my mouth because I have mandibular tori (which I didn't even know weren't normal until I was an adult), but here they have a whirring machine that rotates and magically takes x-rays. Also, because I have a lot of stuff going on with my teeth, I was happy that Dr. S. mentioned cost, as in "let's triage and get the most critical stuff taken care of first" - not because he knew anything about my financial situation, but because dental/medical stuff is expensive and most insurance (including mine) has ridiculously low caps on what they'll pay out in total for dentistry. So, the point. This was a complicated dental surgery because so much of the bone was eaten away and it involved two teeth and I'm a wimp about anything dental-related....but I'll have to go back for follow up and probably bone grafting, and I actually don't dread it. That's how nice everyone there is, and how hard they work to make sure this is as pain-free as possible, so much unlike the root canal sadistic nightmares of my youth. It's also nice of Dr. Swiderski to check in the evening after surgery to make sure we're doing okay. Overall, if you need dental surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Swiderski and crew!

I have been living with a sub-par front cap for years and recently got both front teeth capped that vanquished a hesitant smile in one sitting. The dentist and assistant were highly attentive to detail and laser-focused on my care. No matter what others say, you guys rock! Oh... and Laura should get a raise. She's amazing!

I would give the answering service for after hours no stars if I could…read more I had an appointment and I called and as I was explaining that I might have to cancel. Not sure the answering machine cut me off. I would assume when you only get a partial message on the answering machine you're gonna call the customer and see if he is gonna go ahead and cancel 100% for sure or if he's gonna make his appointment . Well, they did nothing of the sort. They just canceled my appointment and I went to check in and they said oh yeah after hours canceled you. . I have been waiting since the beginning of the year to get in and get a busted molar fixed . I dealt with Willamette dental on liberty Street. They dropped the ball and never pushed my paperwork through in the beginning so several months later I had to call them and say hey I still haven't got a call from the specialist yet. They apologize for that and then I had to wait till almost the end of July and I go today and I'm canceled . I think they're all about taking a payment and that's it . Another thing that is very annoying with them is you cannot call your office directly. You have to go through this bullshit service of giving your name and all your information every time you call to a call center and then they patch you through. Have not been happy with Willamette dental for years and it's what my company offers so until they get something else unfortunately I'm stuck with these stupid call centers.
