This is the creamiest and most flavourful gelato in Sorrento! There are an assortment of natural Flavors and you can have it served in a cup, a large North American sized waffle cone, a sugar cone or a small sugar cone. They also have a large outdoor covered patio located just off the main shopping strip. Stop by if you're visiting Sorrento!

    Lots of great flavors

We deliberately all shared a 1-person pizza for dinner between the 3 of us, to make sure we'd have room for David's gelato, and it was absolutely amazing. Recommended by Rick Steves, who mentions that they make all their gelato on site. You can get samples, which is awesome. I tried the Profumo di Sorrento (sorbet mixed fruits), but ended up getting the Sorrento moon (white almond, lemon zest), and bontolo (salty pistachio). They were both incredible. And the $3 size was just perfect; so reasonable!

Loved the gelato here! They had so many different flavors and options it was hard to choose, but I managed to settle on pistachio and lemon. Both were delicious!! The pistachio was creamy and rich while the lemon had the perfect tartness. I wish I had more time here to try other things, but, alas, everything will have to wait for another time!

Melone and the citrus blend (sorry I've forgotten the name)

Was right around the corner of our bed and breakfast so every time we walked past it, we couldn't help but notice how busy it was. The music was bumping, the gelato was incredible, and the price was honest and not outrageous like other tourist traps. Our favorite flavor was Melone!

We two had gelato at many places during our three weeks in Italy. David had the best gelato. We stopped here twice during our three nights in Sorrento. GELATO: 5.0. Limone was nice and strong, with tart taste. Several other tastes rotate, and I had the raspberry/grape twice: rich tart taste. SERVICE: 5.0. Very friendly and prompt. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Clean outdoor tables available.

    Biscotto, cocco.. Yum!!

I wish we had this back home!!! I tried as many gelato places as possible while exploring Italy, and this was by far my favorite! The staff was always friendly and there are many fun choices. I tried the biscotto, cocco, and nutella. All were delicious, but cocco was my top choice. The real coconut makes it so fresh and delicious. Since i wanted to try as many gelaterias as possible, i went to a different one each day. This was the only one I really wanted to go back to and wish I could've taken with me. It's a good thing it has to stay in Italy, otherwise, I'd have to go to the gym twice a day. I'll be dreaming of this until my next trip.

The gelato here is fabulous!!! Trust me we've eaten a lot of gelato all over Italy and loved this place!!! It was recommended by our driver today and he was spot on! Outdoor seating which is awesome for evening. Huge variety of sweets too!

    oreo flavor

My friends and I went here yesterday and out of all the flavors offered, Oreo definitely stood out as it looked the most appealing by far. The man who served one of my friends and me was nice enough to top both of our gelato cones with an Oreo, but he also up-sold us to the next largest size when my friend had tried to order two small cones. He also was not even remotely helpful when my other friend was asking about a couple of the flavors. The gelato was a little icier than all of the other gelato that I have tried so far here in Sorrento (I've been going on somewhat of a gelato journey), but it was still very good. However, I think the Oreo was my favorite part. I do not even like Oreos ~that~ much but this was not really an Oreo, it was softer and way better! My friend paid 3€ for each of these cones, but she has since gone back and gotten the small for 2€, which she says is basically the same size! Update: on a whim these same friends and I came here again. First off, the man who served us was undeniably rude. Additionally, we were up-sold again. If you get a small cone, you can only get one flavor, which he could have told my friends before, since they both clearly said that they wanted smalls, rather than only tell them after they questioned why it was 3€. With this in mind, I asked for a small when I ordered and only requested one flavor. The man just gave me double of the flavor that I ordered, even when I said no, and charged 3€ still. Once we all had our gelato, the staff made us feel as though we were immediately expected to leave. Well, we left and will never come back.

The service was quick, we only ordered gelato. There were small bites as well. The flavors seemed pretty limited.

This was a Rick Steves recommendation. They have more flavored than any other gelato place we have been to in Italy.

I also picked up a small can of coke and a small bag of potato chips. The cakes are packaged up for us to take away. I used a card to pay and it was €36 but I was not shown the price on the machine. The woman just pushed a number and held it high over the counter so I couldnt read the amount. I speak some italian and thought I must not have heard her correctly when she mumbled the price. When i got back to our hotel i checked the receipt as I thought surely I must have heard wrong. Nope, blatant rip off! The receipt was in the bottom of the bag so found she rang up everything as pastries so it covers up what she actually charges for. But, studying the receipt it must have included the small can of coke for €5! The cakes cost €25 plus another €5 on the bill and extra €1 - so 2 small eclair type of pastry cost €12.50 each! The chips must have also been €5. Chips, small pack cost .70c in the supermarket. Coke she charged me €5 for is those small skinny cans, 0.79c in the supermarket. Assume she must have charged me €1 for the bag the cakes were in. In the 6 weeks we have been travelling all over Italy this is the worst rip off ever! The cakes were ok, not the best we have had but ok. Its the blatant tourist rip off I cannot believe. Before I wrote this review I saw others hsve experienced this rip off as well. How to kill a business, blatant rip off of the customers. Shame on you Pollio!

We entered and it was beautiful from the beginning. We walked to the Lemon garden and it continued to be beautiful until the end. After that, we started to browse around to see what was for sale. The Gelateria section caught my eyes first. I got gelato in the 2,80€ cup and chose Limone for the flavor. There was a Limoncello Free Tasting offered, so I almost had to do that. It had a crisp and refreshing flavor to it. I loved it. I purchased a Limoncello cl 10 e bottle for 6,00€. I got a Magnete embossed Sorrento for 4,00€. It matched the vibe. We sat down at a table to relax. The gelato had a perfect temperature and it tasted fantastic. We took the Limoncello bottle with us and enjoyed it later. It was just as good as the Tasting. The Toilette was free to use, so that was great. It was clean. The service was great. I didn't have any issues. Overall, I had an amazing time. The views were beautiful and everything I got was reasonably priced. I would definitely go again. Date of visit: 25-03-2025

This place is incredible and I only wish we could have spent more time here…read more We ended up coming later in the evening, after dinner, to have either some desserts or limoncello as a digestif. This meant that the back groves were not open to us and we could not see any of the limoncello making. This was ok though because we were able to sit at tables amongst the lemon trees while we sipped on our drinks and ate our sorbets. The person working the counter was alone and slightly busy but we struck up a fun conversation with him (my husband is literally the most friendly person and he and the guy started talking nerd talk) and he came and found us in the grove later to give us a whole tray of samples. The alcohol here is super tasty and you can tell they put a lot of love into it. I bought three bottles and didn't take packing super seriously and lost one in my checked baggage. I almost cried but it was just the limoncello, not the mandarin or the loquat so it was ok. LOL! I wanted to buy it all but those three flavors were my faves, followed very closely by the licorice flavor.
