Others have been great to my wife. This review is about the cafeteria down stairs by elevator 9 Over the years this cafeteria is knows to be the spot. People from business around would come to have lunch. COVID hit and like everything else things fade. Well the grill is good still freshly made. And they have fresh salads and sandwiches, sodas coffee hot chocolate and other things like chips. Older man at the grill he may not have a big giant smile but he makes a great bacon burger. Fries ask a little spice and taste great. So shout out to good food when your at PIH with someone who is spending time at the hospital Cafeteria area = 7 Grill area = 8 Cleanliness= 8 Menu = 7 Customer service = 8 Selections and condiments = 7

I sat there for hours--yes, HOURS--while people who arrived after me were somehow seen first. No explanation, no updates, nothing. Just left sitting in an overcrowded, uncomfortable waiting room wondering if anyone even knew I was there. And the staff? Completely unprofessional and frankly disgusting in their behavior. The nurses acted like I was an inconvenience just for needing help. Eye-rolling, attitude, and zero empathy. One staff member actually spoke to me like I was wasting their time, which is insane considering this is an emergency hospital. On top of that, the place didn't even feel clean. For a medical facility, that's honestly unacceptable. It made an already stressful situation even worse. If you have any other option, go somewhere else. This place clearly does not care about patients, their time, or their well-being. Absolutely horrible experience.

My husband - musician ear plugs; me - swimming ear plugs. The procedure for getting molds of our ears made was fairly fast, not uncomfortable (just a slightly weird sensation), and the ear plugs were ready to pick up in 2 weeks. As someone who generally does not like having my ears plugged, these custom swim plugs (different colors too, to identify R and L!) have been a revelation. They are really snug and comfortable, don't fall out, don't let water in, allow me to still hear some sound, and I was told that they also float if they should fall into the pool. I haven't tested this. I highly recommend Soundscape Audiology! It was very easy to make appointments. Dr Thakkar was great - he explained everything very clearly and we felt safe and assured throughout the whole process. Note: no credit card payment. We paid by venmo.
