Unfortunately the service didn't come close to reflecting the high "tax consultant" fees we were paying. It's impossible to speak to a live person...all interaction is through a chat feature on the client portal...except when you have to pay...they're happy to call you then. We were clients for 25 years but unfortunately had to look elsewhere.

The first red flag was that his admin, Roisin pressured us heavily to put down a deposit in order to talk to Michael. Then once connected (he was very late to our meeting), it was clear that his tax philosophy was much closer to fraudulent practices skirting IRS regulations than we were comfortable with. Additionally, his suggested tax strategies were essentially debunked Reddit bro suggestions like shady life insurance policies (of course he has a buddy to recommend for commission) and buying short term rentals. We were polite and said it wasn't a good fit and asked for a refund of the deposit since no work had been completed. Instead Roisin and Michael decided the consult was worth $500 and no refunds were permitted. Any legitimate service provider should do a consult and a not charge if it is a good fit. These guys are money hungry scammers who would rather have $500 than do legitimate business. Definitely avoid.
