After working with the same accountant for 30 plus years, I was heartbroken when he passed away…read more Finding someone new felt overwhelming. Unfortunately, my first experience with another accountant was extremely disappointing. This year, I searched Google and found Mr. Castro's office and based on the excellent reviews, convenient location, and professional website I gave him a call. From the moment I met the him, I knew I had made the right decision. He was organized, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. My tax returns were completed accurately and efficiently, and every document I had entrusted to him was returned neatly organized in a professional folder. That attention to detail alone gave me tremendous peace of mind. What impressed me even more was the exceptional service after my tax return was completed. I had a few other issues that needed to be resolved. Mr. Castro invited me to come to his office early in the morning before hours and on another occasion after hours, because he knew those were the best times to reach these offices. He patiently spent his time helping me work through the issues until everything was successfully resolved. That level of integrity, generosity, and commitment to his clients is rare today. It is such a relief to know that after losing the accountant I trusted for over three decades, I have found someone I can trust again. I recommend this office wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an accountant who is professional, responsive, organized, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the people he serves. Thank you for turning what could have been another stressful tax season into such a positive experience. You have earned a lifelong client!

The office seemed like a nice local place, although the heavy paint covering the windows makes it…read morelook like the business may be closed, which was a little off-putting. I ultimately decided to give them a try. I dropped off my taxes early, and my return was relatively straightforward, primarily a W-2. After waiting several weeks, I was told I'd need to go on extension. Each time I called for an update, I was told it would be another week and then another week. Not wanting to go on extension and potentially wait weeks or months longer to file, I finally picked up my documents. That's when I learned that my return had not even been started. I brought everything to another CPA, who completed the return quickly and before the tax deadline. I understand that it can take a little longer as a new client, and CPAs are busy during tax season, but that is the nature of the business and something a CPA should know how to manage efficiently. If he was unable to take on my return, I would have preferred to know that upfront rather than having my documents sit there for weeks without the return being started. I found that inconsiderate of my time and, frankly, misleading. The tax preparation process seemed about as organized as the office itself. Needless to say, I did not return.
