It could not of been explained any clearer that we did not wish for there to be any communication between the survey person (or team) with this neighbor. While the foreman was working he spent most of his time doing exactly that. The foreman wasn't even going to but stakes in the ground to mark the property lines, which is what was asked of him and the reason we were having the survey done in the first place. It was only after several minutes of heated discussion that finally and thankfully one of the crew stepped up and put in the stakes to mark the property. When the foreman was asked to convert several measurements from tenths of a foot to inches he said no, surveyors and engineers only work in tenths. He was difficult to work with to say the least.

I hired this company to do a plot survey on an already existing home to confirm boundaries and mark…read moreeasements for a pool install. Their work consisted of confirming previous stages with a metal detector, except one post they couldn't find. That stake was set about 5 feet back from the left side, confirming my previous belief that the markings were off due to tree roots. So I am left with an $115" bill for one hour of work, no drawings confirming boundary, and no real confirmation of the back border. They refuse to respond to complaint email and phone call and just keep sending the bill. I would not deal with this company since there are so many options. I'm still not sure how to resolve this problem but o would avoid them with so many other options.

I wanted our property accurately staked and a plot map showing the property boundaries, our home, and other measurements needed. Xterra360's bid came in a couple of hundred dollars less then the other bids that I received. They advised me that they were busy but would do their best to get to my property as soon as possible. They advised it would be approx. 2 weeks out. They arrived a few days before I expected them and they were checking the surrounding area so they had accurate measurements. They stopped by my house and let me know what they were doing. The next day they were at my house to perform the survey of my property. They had to measure a couple of different ways because all of our trees block cell phone reception, however they were completly prepared and had everything they needed with them. They answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the service they completed.
