Then on Friday told to call primary care because no one will call back. Then the whole next week, no response at all. In two days it will be two full weeks of non returned calls. Their customer service is not in office and apparently they don't respond to the escalated messages. The doctor during the visit was lovely but that is useless if you can't get an appointment or a message to him when you are in severe pain. I'm not even sure the call center is in the US. Everyone I have spoken with has a Phillipino accent. and I have made a bunch of calls. so they must be outsourced.

I was at my wits end with not being able to find a qualified urologist quickly. I was grateful to find Dr. Morrison and even luckier that he was able to fit me in within a couple weeks. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and even asked questions that other urologists (he was my second opinion) did not. I'm really happy they are affiliated with Adventist Hospital because he was able to quickly pull up my scans from when I was in the ER. He even offered to let me see my scans and keep copies of it. At one point I was like: "I can take pictures of my scans?!" (What has the world come to!) The front desk manager was super friendly and professional (definitely unlike a typical medical practice). The technician that did my intake was efficient and polite. The practice occupies the entire 4th floor, so there was plenty of space. Easy to find. There is some street parking and some spots available in a small lots attached to the building, if you are lucky. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Morrison.

He was able to get me scheduled for the surgical removal of the stones only 4 days after the initial diagnosis. My experience at his surgical center were every bit as good and positive. April, the nurse that prepped me for surgery and who was waiting for me as I woke up from the procedure, was fantastic. She was very upbeat, and whether working with me or other patients, was quick to respond to any needs, calmly and efficiently. The surgical staff were absolutely top of the line. The anesthesiologist, nurses, and radiologist all made me as comfortable as possible, let me know everything that would be happening, and continued to make me feel totally at ease. They kept me totally at ease and I felt as if I was in great hands. Doctor Nezu is a remarkable and talented urologist. He saw me in the Howard County General ER on a Sunday afternoon, got me an appointment at his office within 2 days, and then got me in for surgery in another two days. The expedited process came with minimal stress or effort. Dr. Nezu laid out the proposed treatment plan, and left me with a feeling of someone who was very self-assured and competent. This was only made more apparent when I was taken in for surgery. He visited me before and after the procedure, making me aware of what to expect, and then to let me know how the surgery had gone. He was able to retrieve both stones without me having to go through the painful experience of passing the shards of pieces that were left behind. I have lived with kidney stones for many years, and passed more of them than I would care to admit. I have also had to go through both laser and lithotripsy procedures to rid myself of them, and none of those went as flawlessly as what I experienced at the Columbia Urological Surgery Center. They truly care for the entire patient, not just the symptoms. While the process of having kidney stones and their treatment is uncomfortable, Dr. Nezu has been able to minimize any additional discomfiture. Even the experience of having a stent has occurred with minimal pain. I will be making Dr. Nezu and the Central Maryland Urology Associates my urology practice going forward. I live in Virginia, but the commute to receive this level and quality of treatment is more than worth it. I could not recommend them more highly.

Dr Kurnot is a very highly rated urologic surgeon by Checkbook.org. Everything went very smoothly. NO surprises. He's a straight shooter -knows TURP's like the back of his hand. I wanted a TURP because they last the longest. I heard about him from another guy that had him do a TURP some years ago who was also quite satisfied. Now my BPH problem and symptoms are COMPLETELY CURED and the only side effect is retro-ejaculation that the doc told me to expect. It's is not a big deal at all unless you still want to have children. In fact, I like it better this way. (And so does my lady friend :)

He was NOT AT ALL pleased with the results of this procedure because he is no longer able to get the visual stimuli needed for a normal male to see sperm. The sperm now goes into the path of least resistance, the bladder. When my husband went back to Dr. Rodriguez to talk about his disdain of the result, Dr. Rodriguez's bedside manner was very unacceptable and some of his comments were shocking, e.g. "what does it matter; you're not going to be having sex nor having babies." coming from a specialist, namely a urologist! Gentleman: DO NOT USE THIS UROLOGIST.
