But it's not very well trained, and often it will piss on your favourite rug or drop a hot dook in the lounge room when it's raining that you won't find for weeks. Its big and its cheap and its got tons of stuff for your home. That's a big plus, and most of the battle is won right there. The downsides aren't huge, comparatively, but they annoy the crap out of me. There's never any staff around to ask for help, its like Pac Man. You eat the pill then you run around trying to find the shop assistants and they're ducking for cover everywhere and somehow they're always one aisle ahead of you. And the prices are always screwy. As in, you get to the register and the stuff you're buying is a different price to what it was on the shelf. Good if its cheaper, crap if its not. And wayyyy too often there aren't any prices on the shelf at all and you gotta schlep around trying to find one of those self-scanner things to check how much it is but the codes haven't been entered in and it won't scan. Muh. Running a department store can't be that hard, right? Maybe it is, I don't know. Anyway. Three stars. Good outweighs bad. K-Mart's still better though.

Even if it falls apart after three goes (which it doesn't), this, I say to you, is *value*, chums. Numerous times I have wandered through and found something fantastic on sale at a random time, let alone their normal sale times. Neither can they evidently, as I don't even think they're actually aware that there's anything wrong. A ham-fisted attempt at a youth section (The Basement, ironically- or, even more terrifying, non-ironically - located on the top floor), a half-hearted bringing-in of the actually-pretty-cool Dangerfield brand, and it looks like they've decided yep, job done. I used to shop here a lot for clothes, especially in the colossal half-year sales, but there's just nothing there I really want any more. And the organisation is terrible. The male change room is always closed, and having to line up for the girls one, which always a has a massive queue? Really guys? Many's the time I've got sick of waiting, thrown my clothes down and marched out in a Hufflepuff. Yeah baby, you know I just dropped a Harry Potter reference on y'all.

The shop assistant certainly gave me that impression when she greeted me with an arched brow and a quick appraisal of my outfit. Happily, I discovered that the prices are actually quite low in this shop, around the $40 mark, but they reflect the quality of the pieces which were largely made of viscose. Also, I'm not sure what demographic the owner of this shop is aiming at. There is the odd nod to teen wear with cut-off T-shirts and lacy black things which the buyer had obviously thought "hmm, semi-naked, that's what young people like right?" But this idea is juxtaposed by putting dresses and twin sets with mumsy prints and bad colour combinations alongside them. I'd be impressed if anyone found something flattering in here.
