He picked up but you can tell he was moving from job site to job site. He squeezed in a visit to our home that same day in the early afternoon. The pipe ran along a very poorly insulated and tight crawl space. In about an hour, the pipe was repaired. He released the air and pressure from the entire system. He examined the basement and the system. He tested and ensured all worked properly. David was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He showed up in his company vehicle with everything needed to complete the job on site. We found his rate to be extremely reasonable given the repair, the location of the burst-pipe, and the same-day service call. The first two jobs were relatively small and painless. For the installation my wife and I set up three different occasions for them to complete the work. Each time was canceled by Fitzpatrick for one reason or another, the last being because the son wanted to spend time with his girlfriend instead of fulfill the job. On the day they did show they were supposed to be at the job by 9am. 2pm they finally arrived, informed me it would take 5+ hours to complete and when informed he couldn't use a certain door he then informed me it would take an additional 2 hours. I also let him know I had 5 indoor animals and I needed assurance that they wouldn't escape if I allowed him to use the door he wanted. He told me it wasn't his job to make sure pets didn't escape. After telling him he couldn't use the door he decided he didn't want to complete the job and told me to get another plumber. I was then charged $250.00 for them walking off a job. No dependability, customer service or tact. Do yourself a favor and choose a plumber that doesn't get so emotional when speaking with the homeowner.
