He offered a 10% discount on the first visit, which was a really good value. He charged fairly for the going rate of piano tuning. I highly recommend Timothy!

The shop also has quite a selection of pianos for sale, from affordable ones, space-saving ones, and really high-end ones! I don't need another piano for now. And that's exactly how I feel about John and The Piano Care Company! I still remembered that day I went by myself, walked in and met John. We chatted for about an hour and he showed me everything I was interested in at his store. We compared upright vs. Baby grand, length and sounds. I wrote him a check and the piano was delivered in 3 days! The whole process was professionally handled. Oh! And b. Patisserie is around the corner! I can't miss out! So I went and picked up 5000 calories on the way to my car.

It is for good reason Brani receives stellar reviews: he is a master at his craft. On a cold, rainy…read moreafternoon, he spent nearly two hours diligently tuning my piano, during which he would play to listen to the quality, then make adjustments. The result was nothing less than fabulous. He even cleaned the keys. Listening to this man play, alone, would have been well worth the cost of his tuning, but if you need your piano tuned, rest assured this master will do an excellent job. Icing on the cake: of course he was masked, but he also brought protective shoes covers to be certain he did not track anything into my home. He is charming, articulate, and an absolute expert at what he does. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and I am relieved to know he is out there should my piano need any work in the future. Needless to say, I am a devoted fan, and I would love to attend any performance in which he might perform.

I could not be happier!! Sudhira Hay did such an amazing job!!…read more I am so happy that my antique piano actually sounds like a piano now.. It was really out of tune, (even though I guess back in those times when my piano was made, they used a different tuning back then.) I have a De Prouw Aubert, which was a french piano company from 1798-1900, the only known De Prouw Aubert pianos around are 3 or 4 that are in museums in France. I believe mine to be an 1836 or (somewhere close to around that year) Sudhira had never even been up close to a piano that old let alone work on one and she gasped as she saw the (bird cage) that are in certain old pianos as they're almost impossible to tune due to not being able to mute the strings. She was about to leave until she saw something very unusual. The doors underneath allowed her access to the strings that she needed to get access too and so she was able to tune up my piano. She was surprised that the piano even worked and was surprised in it's good condition, besides the fact it is almost a 200 year old piano. In order to get it perfect to todays standards would cost me allot of time and money but I just love the look of this old French piano with the asian artwork. Plus I kind of like the thought of having original 200 year old strings still on it because when I played guitar professionally I would change strings everyday but a piano is quite different.. Anyway, I love how much heart and soul she put into making my old French piano finally sing again. Just like a mad frankenstein doctor, she brought this beast back from the dead, but it's still almost 200 years old, so he has somewhat of an aged scratchy voice.. Thank you so much Sudhira!!! BTW, will add pictures!!!

Unfortunately, it hadn't been tuned in 20 years, either. You can imagine how it sounded. After reading all the Yelp reviews I gave Sudhira a call and I am so glad I did. First off, she is just a great person. Most importantly, though, she is a great piano tuner. She explained to me that it would take several tunings to get our piano back in tune. The first session, it sounded like a honky tonk piano, but it was pretty much in tune. After the second a month later, it sounded amazing. She finished up the third after two months and it's fantastic. Now, mind you, not everyone will take that many tunings. Ours was WAY out of tune. As I said, Sudhira is a wonderful person and she is also very professional. She was right on time for all three appointments and was very thorough. She fixed some of the sticky keys I had an really made this Kimball sing. She treated it like a Steinway. I highly recommend Sudhira. She is great at what she does and is a pleasure to work with. I am so happy I found such a great person to take care of my piano.
