However, they also had an almost new GE gas range top. Perfect for doing my beer brewing. And the price was 1/3 what I saw for clearance at the big box stores. They have lots of things to pick from but be careful and select cautiously. And pay attention to the price.

Just a drop of water on a microfiber cloth. Of great importance, if one of the chairs should be damaged, (very unlikely)you can just order another one. I have seen numerous complaints from customers of large furniture stores, stating that when they wanted a replacement, the item was no longer available. That's a big advantage in ordering custom handmade furniture.

We found Lyons Lighting Showroom through a map search for lamps stores in our area. From there, we…read morelocated their website. What a goldmine, we thought, as we selected 18 possible vanity and ceiling lights that were listed on their website as "Item available in factory stock." Good prices for the items on our list. And purchasing from them would keep us out of a big box store. Finally, the tag line on every item "In store prices too low to advertise. Visit us today!" was further incentive. Wow. We drove down the next day to take a look. Upon arrival, however, we learned that "item available in factory stock" was misleading. As we were shown the small selection of vanity lights displayed in the store, the sales clerk informed us that any items not on display (or about to "go up on the wall"), including those listed as "item available in factory stock," involved ordering the item from the warehouse, which would take 4-7 days to arrive and our paying shipping costs. Lights look different in person. A two-dimensional photo cannot do it justice. A visual inspection helps determine size and color and fit much better. A bit disappointed, we looked over the two dozen vanity lights on display, and this is where our disappointment turned to shock and irritation. Online, there were numerous vanity lights that fit our budget of $150 or less. On the showroom floor, however, 90% of the lights were priced above $200. And these lights resembled lights we had seen in Lowe's or Menard's for less than half of this cost. I guess that Lyons sees no reason to stock lower-priced items for people on modest budgets. It's a shame, too, because we came to BUY. The ceiling lights were a fraction of the selections available through the website, another disappointment. The sales clerk did her best to help us; however, there was no way we could justify spending $300-$400 for a lighting system we could purchase for a third of this cost. The "showroom" is one large room about 25' x 35' with a large selection of lights. Sales tags and the bottoms of lamps hang down, creating head knockers for one of our party who is 5'10". It felt claustrophobic and slightly dangerous to this taller person. We left a bit shell-shocked. Lyons could do customers a BIG favor by making a CLEAR distinction as to what "item available in factory stock" actually means. Knowing that an item is on-hand AT the store AND its cost could help customers better plan.

Stichter advertises every auction as "A very fine" or "excellent" public auction, but sells mostly…read moremass-produced bric-a-brac like pyrex bowls, mold-made pottery, cross stitch samplers made to look antique, old fashioned furniture, etc. The staff makes it seem like they're doing the buyers a favor for just showing up on auction day. He also sometimes attributes items as things they are not. For instance, he sold a friend of mine a small vase Stichter said was jadite jade, but was actually resin plastic. When my friend took it to his jeweler for appraisal, the jeweler laughed and said it was worth, "About $3." My friend had paid $150. When he tried to return it to Stichter, he was told "as is where is" and his responsibility was to inspect all items before purchasing. Overall, this auctioneer is mostly hype. Oh, I forgot to mention that he favors his own workers when taking bids. I have seen him ignore other bidders when someone on his staff is bidding on an item.
