But Dr. Lehman answered all his questions patiently, made him laugh, and made him feel comfortable about getting his teeth removed. On the day of the surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were all very warm and kind, which really helped my son feel relaxed and at home. He had his teeth removed with no problems. I remember when I got my teeth removed (granted - a long time ago) I swelled up like a balloon, but my son didn't have a single bruise and barely any swelling so it was obviously very skillfully done. I made it clear I didn't want or feel the need for x-rays, and as a patient, it's my right to refuse them--plain and simple. Informed consent and patient autonomy are basic rights in healthcare, yet this office treated me like I had no say. They wouldn't even perform the cleaning without forcing x-rays on me first. No real explanation beyond "policy," no discussion of alternatives, and zero respect for my decision. This feels like nothing more than a blatant cash grab--pushing unnecessary radiation exposure and extra billing instead of focusing on actual patient care. The staff couldn't (or wouldn't) explain anything properly; they just see patients as dollar signs. Poor communication, zero empathy, and a complete disregard for patient rights. Signature Dental Group (and their "gentle" approach--ironic) is a joke. I will never return, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to go elsewhere.
