Gave him pain meds 2 different time (different kinds to help the pain) neither worked, no one came to check on us during those 4 hours except when we had to ASK for someone to come in. Stubitson didn't even talk to us before diagnosing and now we are now admitted at St. Mary's because they failed to diagnose pancreatitis. Thanks for the waste of time and telling my significant other not to panic because "everyone throws up". They did a blood test but never did any other kind of imaging or tests to diagnose his issue. I recommend choosing a different hospital if you are looking for emergency or urgent care because although the nurse was nice, Stubitson brushed us off, was rude, and failed to diagnose or order correct imaging.

My only complaint I'd say is sometimes when I say that I have some pain in an area, I'll get responses like "well you don't have any cavities there" and move on without addressing it further. It's still my go-to location and have recommended Village to my coworkers. Am I excited to go and have a root canal? No, not really. I do trust them though!

Village Family Dental Associates' website said it "provides optimal care and takes x-rays every 3 -5 years." The operative word is "provide"; it does not say x-rays are mandatory. I surmise it is not mandatory as a friend who also frequents this office chose not to do x-rays and his dentist complied. A friend who goes to a different practice chooses not to do routine x-rays and her dentist said "up to you." I have on a couple of occasions relented to routine x-rays when heavily pressured (3 years ago) but I have also demurred on the grounds of principle and health. After 15 years of having my teeth cleaned at the Black Earth office as well as undergoing a major tooth transplant to replace a broken tooth (that required x-rays to which I assented) and paying over $10,000 during said period, Dr. Hanna said I was no longer welcomed because I did not want to have x-rays, as my last ones were 3 years ago. "You're dismissed," she said. I suppose I will look for a dentist who says "Up to you" instead of "You're dismissed."

I was not asked if it was okay that they were joining like I have been at every other visit where a student is present. The horrifying part was when without permission or even asking me, my Dr allowed the student to preform my exam which was painful and uncomfortable as the student definitely did not know what they were doing. Next Dr Bathske, was rude, judgemental, and unprofessional with the visit as well. Definitely not qualities you look for in a doctor. Was told, by doctor I have a sinus infection but they won't prescribe antibiotics until past 10 days. So while I'm in horrible sinus and face pain all they could tell me was what I already told them what was wrong with me. Another waste going here.
