Ditto all! I've only been there once, but will make sure my daughters go there too. Excellent, caring, compassionate.

I echo the previous reviewer about Dr. O'Connell. She is warm, extremely smart, and no bullshit. And she's passionate about women's issues.

After a couple years of inadequate care elsewhere, I'm happy to have found Associated Physicians…read more When my "usual" doctor left the practice, Dr. Fothergill took over and she has been thorough and helped me even when I didn't know I needed it. She referred me to an allergist and that decision was unexpected, but also incredibly helpful. I also see Dr. Schwartz for OB/GYN, and she is the best gynecologist ever. I wouldn't say I like having gyno visits, generally, but she's the best in town.

Update: someone is reviewing reviews and covering themselves. They updated the website within hours…read moreof my Yelp review. Screenshot of the website pre- and post-review attached. There is little regard for continuity of mental health care. After seeing Gil Roth since 2021, when I called to schedule an appointment after a four month lapse, I was told I was no longer eligible to be a patient as I did not have a PCP in the clinic. I haven't had a PCP in the clinic since 2023. I never received notice in writing of this new "policy" (a nurse later coldly told me this isn't a "policy", but that "Gill Roth and Dr. Cordes are providers that were hired by Associated Physicians to see our patients"). There is nothing posted on their website, even now: https://www.apmadison.com/behavioral-health (It even says Gil is accepting new patients- ironic, since they are actively turning them away). So beware- because it isn't in writing as far as I can tell- if you aren't in their PCP club, even if you are a pre-existing patient with years of a relationship established- they have very little regard for the continuity of your mental health care.

I am so dismayed by the lack of professionalism I experienced at Physicians for Women. I had no…read moreidea that the physical exam I believed I was scheduling was really an "introduction to the practice" visit and not an exam at all! I know that they have a policy of warning new patients about this distinction, but no one informed me that I was not scheduling an exam. During the fifteen-minute appointment I had with a nurse practitioner who was leaving the practice to pursue her love of bariatric surgery (!), I learned everything about the practice that I had already learned by reading the website. I feel incredibly frustrated that I am being charged for this brief visit, which did not in any way meet my expectations. I have been to doctors all over the country and have never before been tricked into an appointment with no purpose. If they had informed me that I was not signing up for an actual exam, I could have avoided losing the two hours I spent traveling to and from the appointment and waiting in the clinic. They were not clear or up front about their policy, and I resent having to pay for this subpar experience.

Every time I go there, I feel validated, understood, and respected. They are extremely prompt in terms of appointment times and get back very quickly via the online portal. My NP Lainey is the sweetest as is my OBGYN Dr. Piquette. Lucky to have such kind and intelligent medical professionals in my life now.

I had a molar infection and a broken tooth needing a root canal. I was having fevers, swelling, discomfort, etc. I went in soley asking for antibiotics and mouthwash. I also asked what extra measures I could take to help with my pain. It is tricky with having crohns and taking NSAIDS. This question was targeted towards holistic approaches. Instead Neszta took it upon herself to flag me in EPIC, and accuse me in her written note of seeking drugs. This is a detrimental allegation to make especially to someone who has severe chronic health issues and multiple autoimmune diseases. Every person who I spoke with about her at that clinic, and past paitents all have nothing good to say about her. She talks over you, makes you feel stupid, will not assess you, and will make up her mind about you before you are even seen. She said she is unable to prescribe antibiotics. We had to speak to the Union Corners director to get mouthwash and antibiotics. I am so disappointed in the sheer disrespect, lack of empathy, and crude behavior from her. To go out of her way to try and ruin someone and make allegations is serious.

The receptionists and people answering the phones are rude, lazy and ignorant. All of them. The waiting room is ALWAYS dirty; food everywhere, clothes literally on the floor for whatever reason, spilled drinks, literal dirt. The patient rooms aren't much better. I accompany my aunt to every appointment here. One day, there was a used menstrual product in the patient room, on the floor... Another time, I heard two women who worked there arguing about someone stealing a soda....

I recommend them to everyone I hear is looking for reproductive healthcare. I was planning to use state provided health insurance for the first time. I called ahead of time to see if I needed to do anything beforehand and they assured me that I did not. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk filled out all of the paper work for me and made the whole process very easy. It only took five minutes to get everything set up. When I met with the nurse, she really took time with me to make sure that I knew what my options were for birth control, so that I could make an informed decision about my body. She was careful to use inclusive language, which I really appreciated. During the procedure, the doctor was very kind and even hummed softly while she put in the IUD. All around a great experience minus the cramping. Under the insurance, the whole procedure was free of cost. I am linking information about the state health insurance. It is a really great option, especially if you are student: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/fpos/index.htm
