I've always had bad luck finding a trustworthy shop, but Armstrong Auto Care completely changed…read morethat for me. I first came here with my '99 F-150, and they treated my truck with the kind of detail and care you don't see often anymore. They tested their work, explained everything clearly, and made sure I left with the truck running healthy. What really stood out was how they took the time to educate me on what to stay on top of with an older vehicle. That extra effort makes a huge difference, ever since that first visit I honestly haven't gone anywhere else . Same honest service, same attention to detail, and the peace of mind knowing my truck is in good hands. It's my main shop , and I don't trust anywhere else with my truck. I tried calling them the next day but no answer after many, many tries. I drove down there and was told my car would be next in line the next day and they would call me mid day. No call. I called them at least 10 times during the day with no answer. I went there again and was made promises again and I took my vehicle and left. What a waste of my time. No respect for others. 2 days without my vehicle and my car was parked on the street the whole time and very vulnerable. Judging by the number of cars parked all over the place my story seems to be the norm. The place is dirty and unorganized. The woman I spoke with was very apoligetic and very nice but I would not recommend this place at all.

Please Don't waste your time going here. Here's a fun update... it's been 8 days since I picked up my car (and traveling for 5 of those days…read morewithout driving my car), and I'm sitting in the parking lot of a Circle K, waiting for another tow... because, you guessed it, my transmission has done the same thing it did before I brought to AAction. I would have guessed the ink on 1-year warranty would have dried before I'd need to use it. Sadly, that isn't the case. Now, I'll need to pay to rent a car for another multi-day stint with AAction. (I don't suppose they'd be gracious enough to pick up the tab for continued inconvenience)... needless to say, I'm not terribly satisfied with AAction Better Built Transmissions right about now...

Not only did he cause more damage to the vehicle, but the condition he left it in put my family in danger. The gas was splashing out within inches of the muffler, and if it would have hit, the car would have exploded with my 5 year old in it. He is a nice person, but not a competent mechanic. Literally hire at your own risk! I ended up hiring, and paying extra $500, for someone else to fix what he created, and make the car safe again for me and my family.

I strongly advise anyone considering A Auto Tech in Miami to find another body shop…read more I had my Volvo XC90 repaired here when they were a Volvo-certified body shop. We chose them because Volvo told us that using a non-certified shop could compromise the vehicle's warranty, and we understood that the repair work came with a lifetime warranty. That assurance was a major reason we trusted them with our vehicle. The condition of the repairs today is appalling. The panels they repainted have deteriorated into a dull, noticeably different shade of gray from the original factory paint. The difference is obvious, and the repaired areas look terrible. The headlight they installed has also become severely cloudy, while the original headlight remains clear. Based on its condition, I do not believe the replacement was comparable in quality to the original. Having one cloudy headlight alongside a clear original is yet another glaring reminder of this repair. When I contacted A Auto Tech, I was told they had lost their Volvo certification and would not honor any lifetime warranty. Losing certification does not explain why a customer should be left without the protection they understood was part of the original repair. We relied on their certification and the warranty assurance. Now we are left facing substantial out-of-pocket costs to redo work we believed was covered. The quality of the repairs is deeply disappointing; their refusal to stand behind them is even worse. A warranty means very little if the shop refuses to honor it when the work deteriorates. Based on my experience, I would not trust A Auto Tech with another vehicle and strongly caution others to take their business elsewhere.
