The service here is terrible. I had a wheel alignment done, and after six months, my tires were severely worn and completely unusable. When I returned to the service center and pointed this out, they claimed it was a suspension problem. However, it was obvious, even to the naked eye, that the tires had worn evenly. My mechanic also confirmed this. They just made a fool out of me and refused to fix their mistake, as it would have required them to buy new tires. If you want terrible service, come here. read more

The entire staff provides excellent customer service. But not only that, I left today with total peace of mind that all work was done thoroughly and professionally. They treated each person there as a valued customer. Thank you 5 Star! read more

I needed an alignment asap. They had a cancellation and I was able to get in the same day. In addition, they took care of the alignment in less than an hour. Definitely a friendly, family small business. They took care of the service we needed. The price was better than the dealership and we will definitely recommend 5 Star to our friends! I had new Michelin tires installed at the Costco Tire Center on Biscayne Blvd today and the mechanic there told me that the alignment was off which I already knew as the car was definitely pulling to the right. He suggested I go to Five Star when I asked for a recommendation for a nearby service shop. I called Five Star at 2:30 and they squeezed me the same day in at 4 PM. In less than an hour they corrected an alignment issue that Mercedes had worked on several months ago and never adjusted properly. Danny and his wife Helene who own Five Star were extremely warm and super friendly. He saved me a fortune compared to what a Mercedes dealer would charge and now the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. They even give you a printout with before and after alignment measurements for the work being done which is something I have never received before in all of the years I have taken my current car to a Mercedes dealer's service department or on any of my other Mercedes and BMW's in the past. Also as I was new to Florida I asked for some local restaurant recommendations for Greek food which they were happy to give. This is a legitimate service center that does not rip you off and I highly recommend them for your service needs and most especially for an alignment!!! read more

What an incredible experience from top to bottom. First of all making the appointment by phone. Later arriving at appointment. Both times very attentive and kind customer service. On top of that we were offered catered food and cookies and coffee while we waited. And the tech came in a couple of times to show us in detail how our car was compared to after the alignment and how to proceed if there were any problems with the car. A true exceptional experience. Great price too to top it off. Highly recommend read more

Great service. Very knowledgeable, fit me in same day on short notice. Highly recommended.

Great shop. I was referred to them from two other shops that didn't want to work on my Silverado because I installed a lift kit. Very friendly staff at the desk, and Adam the tech was extremely competent and helpful. He knew exactly how to align it with a lift kit installed. I'll make sure to bring every car I own to them from now on. In and out in 30 minutes, no waiting when I called ahead. read more

My car was brought in for alignment and check the back tires. They did an amazing job at fixing my car the whole thing took 20 minutes and left my car overnight to get fixed. Before even waking up they call me to tell me its all fixed. Not only did they do this but they helped me find the best option for me to save money. They genuinely care about your money and don't just take it like some other places I know. I cant praise them enough! read more

At 1:30 I called to see if I could come earlier and a VERY NICE GUY answered the phone and told me he could take care of me at 2:15. While waiting for my wheel Alignment another VERY NICE GUY was telling a lady how he would not charge her for two hours of labor. After only 45 minutes I was on my way home. The alignment cost me $89.95. My car dealership told me it would take an hour and a half and cost $170.00. THESE GUYS ARE FRIENDLY ,FAIR AND GIVE GREAT SERVICE. Michael Aaron read more

I am very pleased with the work done and it cost me a fraction of what Firestone had quoted me. This place tried to tell me I needed a steering rack after I came in for an alignment. They told me they would lift my car and try to turn the front wheels by hand and the guy said it was too tight. The owner tried to tell the guy to take the tie rod ends off so they could do a real test, but the guy working was too lazy and said it was definitely the rack and refused to take the tie rod end off to troubleshoot. The owner then tells me he will look around for a new rack. I asked him how much for the labor and he said on no more than 3 hours at $100 an hour and he even said it would probably be around 2 hours. So they get me an estimate, and it was a whopping $800 for the rack and $500 for the labor. When I said hey you said it was 3 hours and maybe even 2 he said he was busy helping other customers, completely blowing me off. I went in there for an $89.99 alignment and came out with a $1295 estimate to replace my rack without them even taking a single part off my car to troubleshoot!! I would stay away from this place, any of the reviews saying they are helpful did not seem true when I was there. Oh one more thing, when I mentioned the positive reviews he had on google, he stated he doesn't even read them or cares!! read more

I have been using 5 Star for years. Danny is the most honest mechanic you will find. I had a wheel alignment done on my Ford Escape and a month later went to have an oil change done at a tire shop. They tried to talk me into having an alignment done showing me the printout from their alignment machine. I told them that I had one done in the previous month so they said to have it checked out. I went back to Danny and showed him the printout. He put the car on his alignment machine and showed me the results were perfect. The tire shop was just looking to make extra money because their oil change special was just to bring you in to them. read more

I had an excellent experience working with the 5 Start Family on the replacement of my rear axle. I had been aware that they had expressed concerns with a part that the insurance company did not authorize to be replaced and they were correct in saying I needed the replacement. The owner took charge and got everything ordered, replace and perfect withing a very short time. This shop is small but they are very busy and organized. They require notice to get your vehicle in because of the space and volume of business, but they are 100% worth taking your vehicle to for repair. I was exceptionally happy with the entire experience and with their friendliness. I appreciate that they are trustworthy and honest. read more
